Chapter 121 - A Bowl of Congee

It was early morning when the second van arrived with Qian and Wrath's guards. By now, he was able to sit in a leaned back position. The compound doctors immediately rushed him to their onsite clinic. 

At the villa, the gang had been keeping vigil all night, trying to source reliable news on the Megalopolis and establishing a connection to The Underworld. Overtired, they eventually fell asleep on the couch, waking only up to the commotion outside. 

Qian's parents immediately rushed over, while his older sister remained with the group, bringing them bowls of sweet rice porridge for breakfast. 

As they ate, Sayuri asked, "Lifen, when can we meet this archangel everyone is speaking of?" 

"That depends on how my little brother recuperates," she responded as she watched the horde wolf down her mother's congee. 

"Huh, they're not here?!" Dubhán exclaimed in surprise.
