When Noboru awoke, he was lying on a new bed. Surprisingly, he wasn't handcuffed to it. The mess he had caused had been diligently cleaned away.
Next to him, Sterre sat, dozing off on a stool. Judging from the debris in her hair, she had been tasked with cleaning up.
The Tengu got up, feeling… energized. He hopped out of bed, immediately balancing himself on his right leg. Confident in his abilities, Noboru tried to skip to the door. It felt as if he had gotten his left leg back for a moment, so he tried to step instead. Unfortunately, the moment was so brief the Tengu tripped and fell.
Sterre gasped, being roused from her nap. She looked around to find him lying on the floor. Again.
"Oy, dude, ye hatin' yer bed that much?" She rushed to his side to help him up.
"I was trying to improve my mobility," Noboru tried to explain.
"Smashing furniture helps yer mobility?"
"... It… was a brief lapse of judgment."
