It was a perfectly sunny morning. Wearing his traditional outfit, Noboru prepared breakfast for his family.
"Ah, good morning, Bobo-chan!" His mother came in first. Her brown hair was intricately woven into several braids and then twisted into a bun. She ruffled her white wings.
"Mother, I am of age now," Noboru gently scolded, spilling loose green tea all over the kitchen counter. "You have to stop calling me by my nickname."
His mother chuckled. "As far as I see, you're still my little baby." She then reached out to help him clean up the mess.
"Noboru," his father spoke in his usual deep and calm voice upon entering the kitchen. He raised his tablet to scratch his hair sheepishly. "I fear you have to wake your sister again."
