Eros woke up, face pressed against the cold, concrete floor. Whatever they injected had to be potent stuff for him to be knocked out so effectively. His hands were tied behind his back, and his feet were shackled.
"Uuugh…" Ramiel's groan came from his right. Eros turned his head to see she was dumped next to him. When he turned the other way, he saw both Coral and Angelica. The two girls were tied back to back. Judging from their slumped posture, they were still knocked out cold. Eros painfully rolled on his back and then managed to sit upright.
They were in a windowless warehouse amidst crates and cardboard boxes. Eros only saw one exit, a double door on a ramp leading up. In the center of the warehouse floated a swirling vortex akin to a portal. Eros surmised it was one of those legendary seals from which hellspawn crawled out. He wondered why they were put here of all places.
