Chapter 66 - Little Brother

Eros clicked his tongue. How could his brother be such an amateur? To his great dismay, the angel watched Alric rummage through his pockets, retrieving the Executioner's Blade as if it was some kind of candy from the vending machine. 

"Okay, it seems the first thing I'll need to get you is a holster," he complained, his face scowling. "By the time you get that thing out, you'll be sliced in half."

"I'm sorry?" Of course. Alric detested it whenever Eros corrected him. This was going to be a fun lesson.

Sighing, Eros said, "brother, I expected a little more from you. You've been to the Academy, you know."

"I forget things."

Eros shook his head in disappointment. 

Eventually, Alric handed the weapon over to Eros. 

The angel didn't expect much of the blade. There were quite a few forgeries out there, particularly common among Wingless. But Eros' expression changed as soon as he held the rod in his hand.
