Winston pauses the player as they take in what they just learned from the first tape alone...
"That was just the first tape?" Said Dustin looking a bit tired.
"Yeah, that was just the first tape... It's first half as well." Said Winston also looking a bit heavy and tired.
"I never knew our Professor would be proficient at killing people. Especially at a young age." Said Ophelia as she lay down on the bed trying not to breakdown.
"This seriously makes me mad... I'm now torn to what I should trust now." Said Leon.
"You're torn? But why?" Said Seraph.
"I mean we're basically learned chemistry from a man who killed people in his past. He said it himself too, that he started wars because of it. He himself did a lot of horrible things to the world just to keep its peace. Is that really you guys really want? Living peace because of lives buried in the ground for us to just step-on and ignore?" Said Leon.
"Leon, you forgot how countries were made. The term blood, sweat, and tears aren't just a wordplay to mean hardworking that represents a lot of our history, blood has been used to form countries. Peace theoretically can't be made without bloodshed." Said Winston.
"Yes, I know but this is just one part of an entire tape Leon, we still have 3 tapes to go through." Said Seraph.
"The question I have now is where did he get his credentials for his Chemistry profession?" Said Dustin.
"We'll found out when we play the next half of this tape." Said Winston as he presses play on the remote.
Well then I hope you kids did some basic discussions about me that's just the small stuff. But before I took my weapons training I was given a aptitude test so that they could record how smart I could probably be. The questions were all from what we've been watching since we were toddlers.
From what they found out after looking at my tests is that I have potential so mid-way before my transition into weapons training. I was given private lessons on specialty subjects such as explosives making. Quite hardcore lessons for a 5 year old right?
Since they believe that if a child grew up with the said materials around him. The kid would adopt to the situation he's more comfortable and would be knowledgeable about it because I grew up living with explosives surrounding me.
This is where I got my love for chemistry, my dear students. It might be a dangerous path I took if you think about it. But it ended up in a more useful than dangerous side of things. Chemistry made my life easier there. Food tastes better after I added my own chemistry into the mix.
The taste of chemicals aren't good but its certainly an improvement over the tasteless slob they were feeding us every single day.
"Vaughn congrats for being part of the smart kids program." Said the Instructor as he tested me more and more in the recent days.
I forgot that smarter kids gets more physical tests. That test that we have to go through every two weeks? That became every three days. My body count kept climbing higher and higher by the 9th month of training.
I was basically killing off 6-10 necroders everyday.
"Vaughn that's enough for the day. You have classes to attend." Said the instructor as I headed to class.
It was studying, training, and fighting. Every single day until my 12th month finished where my 6th birthday came by. And I was thrown into weapons training immediately since I was part of the SCD there was no instructions just a rubber knife as a training tool and began hand-to-hand combat with an actual veteran in our class.
His name was Skull, he was just 14 years old, why you say? He was known to break people's skulls with his bare hands during training how many necroders experienced brain damage and skull fractures. He's good they say.
He himself was surprised how I kept up with him. Though he was fighting us at a lower level of power since he could easily crush our heads without any worry. Knife training lasted 3 months, then sword training was next that lasts 2 months.
"Sword training is gonna be shorter than usual since not all of them will be fighting using swords but will fight against people who use swords." Said the Instructor.
Sword training was more on defensive rather than offensive since swords are practically obsolete in the battlefield with guns doing more damage in a distance than needing to get close to deal damage. Knives gets a longer time for training since we may encounter times that we need to use a knife for an entire operation.
After the 2 months of sword training next up was 4 months of unorthodox weapons training we find ways to kill necroders with unconventional weapon such as shoelaces, rubber ducky's, teddy bears, and other non-lethal household items. Since we need to be adept on our surroundings.
They believe that a human household is just a filled with all the possible ways a human could die with from the most harmless items to the most deadliest. We did some basic blueprint reading to know how a typical household runs and operates. Knowing how your target's house operates is the best way to plot a kill without being in the house even.
The remaining months for training is gun training we get weekly tests on how fast we could disassemble and reassemble an AK. Because I was fond with chemistry during that time I experimented with a couple of bullets there for me to fiddle around and make improvements here and there.
And I made some very sketchy explosive ammo. That blew off heads of the necroders, which they forced to stop me from further training because how more and more dangerous I'm slowly becoming. Because during that time... I'm transitioning to my 7th birthday...
But before I could continue this final parts of my childhood before I transition to my next segment. I know you kids are now questioning yourselves. That I maybe the wrong person to trust or that I'm a victim here because I grew up in the worst possible environment. I'll keep talking here since, I won't be able to answer more direct questions from you.
And this tape is only about my past. I do hope you kids stay there and keep yourselves out of trouble.
