When Audrey woke up, she immediately shoved Ricardo next to her, but he was no longer there.
He was probably already downstairs having breakfast. Audrey got dressed first, and then went downstairs, straight to the kitchen. Ricardo was not there. She saw the maid cooking in the kitchen.
"Assistant?" Audrey called to the maid in front of her. "Where is Ricardo?" she asked.
Answer by the cook: "In the garden, ma'am."
Audrey was about to leave the kitchen when she heard what the cook said. She suddenly turned around to look at her.
"What did you call me?" Audrey asked, while giving the servant a bad look, who was surprised by her actions.
"What is your name?" Audrey asked her again. "My name is Dina," she replied.
"Alright, Dina, don't ever call me ma'am. Do you hear me? " Dina nodded, "Call me Miss Audrey, okay?" "Yes, Miss Audrey," Dina responded and a little uncomfortably.
Audrey then turned around and proceeded to the garden. Ricardo was there, having a coffee while reading a newspaper.
She approached him and greeted him, "Good morning, love." He replied, but
He didn't even look at her.
Audrey believes Ricardo does not love her. But she didn't care since the important thing was that they were married and she was entitled to his wealth.
"Where do you want to spend our honeymoon?" Audrey asked.
"Honeymoon?" Ricardo said. "You're pregnant already. Why are
Are we going on a honeymoon? " he asked.
"I want us to travel so you can rest, and we can enjoy together," Audrey said softly.
"I have a lot of business to take care of; I can't take a vacation," Ricardo replied solemnly.
"But..." Audrey frowned.
"No! I said I couldn't!" He stood up and walked away from Audrey, who was surprised by his reaction.
Audrey's palm squeezed as she suppressed her anger. She is unable to express her anger at Ricardo.
She must push for being a good wife so that Ricardo does not believe he made a
mistake in marrying her.
Meanwhile, Tessa left their home early to visit her friend Martha.
"Why are you so early?"
Martha wondered, astonished that Tessa had arrived so early.
"It seems you have a problem;
come in and we'll talk about it."
For a little period, Martha left Tessa on the patio. She reappeared with coffee and hot bread for
the two of them.
"What's wrong, Tessa? Why are you sad?" Martha asked.
"Your daughter just married to a billionaire, and you were so unhappy right away; why weren't you given enough money?" she
said, then laughed.
Tessa was serious, so she didn't give an opinion on what Martha said.
"That is my problem. Since she met Ricardo, her behavior has deteriorated. She has become arrogant and she no longer listens to me," Tessa said.
"What do you mean she's different? Your child is used to be like that," Martha responded, then sipped from a cup of hot coffee.
Tessa took a deep breath.
"She's different now; she seems even more..."
"You mean she got even worse?" Martha said.
"Yes, Martha, I'm worried, I watched how she treated her bodyguards. She appears to have forgotten that she comes from a poor family," Tessa said.
"I'm afraid that Audrey will do something horrible someday."
"What do you think I did wrong in raising Audrey, Martha?" Tessa was sad.
"Tessa, don't hold it against yourself. You don't have an attitude problem; it's your daughter, because her father is always taking her side even when she is wrong," Martha grumbled.
Audrey was spoiled by her father, and because of that, she grew up with a behavioral issue. Even when they were out of budget at the time, her father always gave her everything she desired. Her father spoiled her, and she always got everything she wanted.
"I immediately thought of her stepsister, who is very sweet," Martha added regretfully.
"Let's not talk about Megan; I'll be even more upset," Tessa cried.
Tessa's fear for her daughter Audrey is understandable as a mother, especially now that she has money.
It could cause harm to others. Audrey was someone she knew, and she knew that when she wanted something, she would do to
anything to get it.
Audrey called up the maid, Mira, who was tasked with cleaning.
Audrey's angry command: "Clean up the mess! Before Ricardo comes home!"
"Yes, miss," Mira answered, hurrying to gather up the broken vases scattered over the floor of their bedroom.
Ricardo entered the room unexpectedly and noticed the broken vases.
"What happened here?" he asked in a loud voice.
"Mina hit the vases, which is why they broke," Audrey said.
before casting a harsh glance at Mina. "Just forgive her, love, let's just buy a new one," she continued.
Audrey, on the other hand, tossed the vases because she had gone insane earlier because she was upset with Ricardo.
because Ricardo refused to agree to her request for them to travel together.
After putting the items down, Ricardo left the room, leaving Mina and Audrey inside.
Audrey warned Mina, "Don't tell Ricardo that I shattered the vases, or I'll hurt you!"
"Yes, miss," Mina confirmed. She then left the room quickly. She hurried straight to the kitchen.
After throwing away the broken vases, Dina, the cook and laundress, Marlyn, was there.
The three of them discussed what they had noticed about Audrey.
"Where is Sir Ricardo?" Mina inquired quietly.
"Maybe he is outside," Marlyn speculated.
"Audrey's behavior is disgusting," she said quietly to the two.
"She lied, she made up a story, she told Sir Ricardo that I was the one who shattered the vases," she said.
"Did she really do that?" Marlyn couldn't believe what her coworkers were saying.
"Earlier this morning, she got upset with me because I addressed her as ma'am," Dina explained.
"She gave me a dirty look, her manner isn't great, but she's nice in front of Sir Ricardo."
"Who are you talking about?" Ricardo asked when he suddenly went to the kitchen and heard them talking.
