Chapter 9 - ....Hmmm

"You seem irritated..."

Oh, he was irritated, nothing was happening... Takashi was brooding, reminding him of someone with ducks hair.

"Oh, it's nothing, just thinking about something..."

Saeko rose an eyebrow, it wasn't often that he thought about something this intensely... Only once or twice.

"You want to come with me to the Club room?"

Kakashi looked over at her, even if his face was covered with a mask, she could see the smirk under it.

"Ohh... you and me in a clubroom alone... Skipping classes... oh I wonder what you are planning to do to me in there."

The blush that crept up on her cheeks was so adorable he wanted to squeal... it would be a manly squeal.

Wait... It was today!

"Sure, I can come... Want to cross swords? Or just cuddle?"

She smirked as she walked out of the room, leaving his question unanswered.

His smirk still on his face, he followed her, he could just forget the apocalypse for a few hours, he had a girl waiting for him.

What was more important? an apocalypse that might cut the human population to minuscule amounts or The girl he loved?

The answer was obvious.

___

"When you called me here I didn't expect to end up like this..."

Kakashi chuckled as he was sitting up against a wall with Saeko straddling him.

"You asked for it..."

She reached up to take down his mask.

"Yeah, I can see myself doing that."

As she was about to pull his mask down they heard the comms activate.

His eye twitched, Why now? They were getting to the good part.

"I don't think that bodes well..."

He heard her mutter and sighed, His enhanced hearing catching the sound of running students.

"We should stay here until the panic passes. Don't want to get run over."

They both stood up and he went over to the window. there were some turned already walking around outside.

"What happened to them?"

His answer was a shrug, He didn't know, Honestly, He doubted that anyone did... well except the ones that made the virus.

"No idea."

Turning to the storage room, he walked inside and started looking around grabbing a Stick... A Bokken.

"Grab your Bokken, it seems that we are in.... a Sticky... situation."

She looked at him for a moment before releasing a sigh.

"That wasn't funny."

Well, at least he tried.

"We should get to the nurse's office... I know little about the first aid... never needed it."

She scoffed.

"Of course."

She rolled her eyes at that, stupid silver haired assholes. Shure she loved him but sometimes he was unbearable. like when he was bragging.

Kakashi chuckled, she was being salty.

__

pushing aside a corpse he calmly walked forward, heading toward the nurse's office.

"Aren't you a little too calm about this?"

He hummed. Yeah, he was calm, but so was she.

"You are too, seeing that it is an Apocalypse... Like that movie, we watched last month."

She shrugged while sidestepping a hand. She didn't have much of an explanation.

"Okay, we're there... oh crap, someone's screaming."

The two of them sprinted forward to see a boy get bitten.

So far everything was going by the script... he felt bad for thinking like that but pushed the thought to the back of his mind. There was no time thinking about other people...at least he finished his Mangas... thanks to those things, he had a crap ton of ammo.

While he was lamenting Saeko had dispatched the zombie and was looking at the bitten kid in silence.

With a sigh, he walked forward.

"Help the nurse, I'll take care of this."

Nodding She turned to Shizuka who was looking worriedly at the bleeding first year.

"What's your name, Kid?"

the said kid looked up at him, opened his mouth to talk but coughed out blood. after taking a shaky breath he spoke up with difficulty.

"I-Ishi Kazu."

His tone even, Kakashi started explaining his situation.

"Ishi, you must know what happens when someone gets bitten by now. I can prevent you from turning and end you suffering right now, as painlessly as I can, or you can decide to live a little longer and I will kill you when you turned, you can choose."

The brat looked up at him for a moment as they both ignored the outcry from the nurse.

"P-please, do the f-first option."

Sweat was covering his forehead, the process is already on the way, he guessed.

Nodding, he readied his bokken and swung, His eyes were cold as steel while he watched blood splatter on the ground.

Killing someone wasn't as hard as others made it out to be... or it was just him.
