The first exam was difficult for most of us and we couldn't do as well as we all wanted, or there was some other kind of problem that ultimately resulted in disappointment. It was common for all of us, and something similar happened in the following few days as well.
'The second test was something that came as a surprise for most of us.'
We didn't think about it since the chances of something like that happening were low already, but all of us who had a common test were placed in a common setting and we had to compete against one another for a set pool of points that were scattered across that artificial land.
Much like the entrance exam there were various places that had a certain kind of task hidden on them and finishing these tasks gave us extra marks.
