Chapter 3 - Day 3: Conference

Day 3 has come and i feel like shit.

Let me try and write it down from the point of a 3rd party.

----

Gremik woke up to a calm and quiet morning breeze. He was laying under a Plurresant tree alongside Stella his mostly disloyal steed. He was already in a bad mood since he alongside all other gods were forced to come to this seasons seasonal god conference. Usually arrival to such a meeting was optional and most gods wouldn't waste the energy to come. For a god a entire year wasn't considered much. Just like how a mortal wouldn't see a single day as a extremely long period of time. To make things worse there were four such conferences in a single year so unless there was some big news nearly no one would come.

Gremlik walked into the seasonal conference room. He could see both freinds and foes all sitting around a giant doughnut shaped table. At the center of the table was a smaller round table where only the most powerful of the gods could sit. Gods like Herdius king of the gods aswell as other gods of comparable power such as the god of justice grampa Zelron.

Currently half the seats were still empty some gods haven't arrived yet others for one reason or another truly couldn't come and were thus permitted not to do so, and some were destructive beings what were only gods in name but essentially waged war on all other gods. Those gods may of had a seat but no one expected them to arrive.

Slowly more and moree gods arrived but Gremlik noticed something was off. Around central tabe there was one seat missing. Suddenly the booming voice of Herdius king of the gods echoed arcoss the conference room.

"We shall now begin with the seasonal conference."

The god of lust and wealth soon asked the question on everyones mind:

"Herdius what's the big announcement? why call us all here?"

To which Herdius suddenly turned his head towards Gremlik to everyones suprise.

Gremlik imideatly blanked out thinking to himself.

{I may of made a few pranked but i don't think i ever crossed the line... too far. Maybe? What could i have done!}

Herdiuses face became somber as awkward moment of silence came to an end.

"Gremlik im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your grandfather, Zelron has met his end last week."

For a split second Gremlik was happy when he heard it wasn't something related to him, but when he heard the final part of the sentice he felt something shatter in his heart. He felt a dissing array of emotions he couldn't describe. It was so bad he fell of his chairs Infront of everyone essentially adding a unwanted tint of humiliation to the negative emotions he was going through. It was horrible he couldn't speak he couldn't get up he felt like a husk that could only cry as the entire conference started at him in silence. Was telling Gremik only now Herdiuses revenge? Gremik didn't know but Herdius didn't show any shardenfroider. Although it could be because Zelron and Herdius were good freinds.

Herdius continued the conference.

"Now we must discuss who were to take the mantle as the new god of justice."
