Chapter 35 - Fairy Worry

"You want... to learn alchemy?"

Aveline had made it home, her girls taking the chance to relax. She now stood before her parents, the two perplexed by her sudden request.

"Mhmm... am I not allowed to, or something?"

Nilly shook her head as her husband spoke.

"Far from it, alchemy is an amazing craft! It would be great for someone in our family to learn something like this, as I have even dabbled in smithing in my younger years. The problem... eh, well we know of an alchemist. The issue is her personality, as well as the fact that she is a student at your Aunt's Academy."

Aveline bit her lip, waiting for her father to continue.

'Oh boy, Enna!?'

["Who is Enna, exactly?"]

Unsure of who was talking to her, Aveline flinched at the message. She sighed inwardly before replying.

'She is crazy. Dresses like a nun, but is a total masochistic pervert that will attack or cuddle the person she loves. To be honest, though I favor myself from the game, she always struck me as an odd one. Her backstory was happy, cheerful even. But now she is a weird alchemist with a penchant for scaring the hell out of people, but she is incredibly beautiful with a body that rivals Kyra's.'

["That is a lot of praise."

'Definitely.']

Aveline blinked rapidly.

'Oh. So that is how they decided to help me out here? Simple enough, but not... grammatically useful. Hehe...'

As Aveline brought her attention back to Thorin, he sighed.

"I will send a letter to Miss Enna Rathwell. She is a bit of a genius, being a year older than you, but already in the Academy. I just hope she won't mind meeting... Niall?"

His question left Aveline to nod softly. She let a cheerful smile spread across her lips as her father walked off to write the letter.

"Alright, sit beside your mother now! I've missed you!"

Aveline practically plopped onto the sofa beside Nilly, quickly curling into her mothers arms. Her head fell onto her mother's breasts, turning up to smile at her before relaxing.

"I missed this too, Mama."

Nilly began to stroke Aveline's hair.

"I was expecting you to have tried a few things with those three by now. Is my daughter not as confident as her mother?"

Aveline pushed herself up, her face scarlet. Her mouth was practically sealed as she was stunned. Nilly had a wicked smile on her face.

"You do know, I was the one that went for your father first. He may come off confident, but I have him wrapped around my finger."

Her smile left Aveline stunned even more, though her mother's fingers slipped into her hair and pulled out the white strands.

"This..."

The soft way she teased Aveline's hair, as well as the way her mouth was left open, kept Aveline confused. Nilly sighed softly.

"This is... a little worrying. I hoped you would have a bit less Snow Fairy blood. Not more than me."

Aveline tilted her head.

"Huh? More than you?"

Nilly smoothed her daughter's hair as she spoke.

"A Snow Fairy isn't an actual race, at least not anymore. Once, they were known as Frost Elves, a very magical and spiritual people. Snow Fairy's are not categorized by blood, but by essence. Still, we refer to it as blood. The essence is what increases our power as a Snow Fairy."

A concerned look crossed Nilly's face.

"How much do you know of our family line? About Snow Fairies?"

Aveline smirked.

"A lot, though you're telling me more than I knew. Is there something else?"

Nilly began to tell Aveline about her heritage, about her life as a Snow Fairy princess.

'Knew this, but the way she's talking about this... she loves her family dearly. I'm happy she is my mother!'

Aveline listened wholeheartedly as Nilly spoke, a smile broke out.

"I believe you would hit it off with her daughter, I mean my older sister's adopted daughter. Considering your orientation, maybe you would even..."

A thought crossed her eyes.

"Honestly, with all the girls you will have beside you, you would be destroying many bloodlines for the future."

Aveline felt her heart ache. She grew quiet as she moved away from her mother.

"I-if they were to want a family, or something else I am unable to provide, I would... I would..."

Aveline felt her voice leave as many faces began to flash in her mind. The many women she knew and wished to either love or save made her heart painful until she fell into a dark state. Pulling her legs up, Aveline hugged them tight as her mother finally realized what she put into Aveline's mind.

"Mama, I don't want to give them up, b-but... if they ever ask me to?"

Nilly's eyes went wide as Aveline's hair slowly began to turn white. The room got colder, little by little.

"Sweetie, if you truly love them, let them feel that love. Don't give them room to doubt how much they want to be with you."

Without warning, a door flew open. Having just released the handle, Thorin had a smug look while three beauties had fallen across the floor. They groaned as they climbed to their feet, faces red knowing they were caught.

"Aveline?"

Thorin was immediately concerned, quickly attempting to close in on his wife and daughter. Nilly raised a hand, halting him.

"She is fine. Just some inner... turmoil I caused. Let's give her some time with our spies."

Nilly led Thorin out.

"Do you think you should be leaving after causing-"

Thorin went silent as Nilly glared.

"Those girls know our daughter well enough, plus... she needs them. Not me right now. Silly girl."

Aveline was left with Kyra, Lyla and Nora. The room growing colder.

"So this is..."

Everyone was stunned by Aveline's appearance, aside from Lyla. The Foxkin did as she wished, curling up beside Aveline. Her head leaned against the silvery white hair and she turned in order to kiss her cheek softly.

"Master... no, Aveline. You'll never, ever lose me to anyone else. I promise."

"Ugh... why do ya gotta take that much initiative? Aveline!"

Nora stood in front of the sofa, her face brighter as she pulled attention to herself. She crossed her arms, but sighed as she knelt in front of Aveline.

"Can you calm down? It's hard to concentrate when I see you like this, and besides, I was already into women before I met you."

She scratched her head and sat on Aveline's opposite side.

"I'd rather stick with someone I know I won't be scared of losin."

She leaned slightly away, but kept her hip tightly connected to Aveline. She turned her head away, keeping a smile hidden behind her hand.

"You all look comfortable."

A happy smile lit up on Kyra's face as she wandered around behind the sofa. With a massive sigh, she leaned down and placed her breasts against the back of Aveline's head. Her arms swept down, hooking under Aveline's and squeezing her in a hug.

"Look at us. Bonding and being all cute and happy! Now Aveline, we did hear you. We have no plans on leaving you."

As she finished speaking, her lips pressed against Aveline's hair. The stunning white returned to it's deep black color. Aveline reached up, pulling Kyra down slightly. She kissed the woman's cheek before dropping her arms back down.

"Thank you. I just..."

Her face flushed red, Aveline began to talk of future plans. Now that she was fourteen, she had a limited time left before Nora was to join the Academy.
