"This is his house?" Abel asked in awe as they stared at her ex-husband's mansion.

"My former hell," Tim croaked.

From the high of messing up Bamboye, Tim decided on a visit to her ex-husband. She'd not gotten closure there. Udeme had saved her, threatening fire before the coward signed the divorce papers. 

A woman opened the door. Charles, the lanky idiot, jumped to his feet, shirtless, wearing jean. "What are –"

Tim hauled off her tote-bag, heavy with hardcover notebooks, and slammed his face. His neck snapped to the side. She feared she'd killed him. She'd only broken his nose.

Charles sputtered, blood spilling from his crooked nose. "What is wrong with you, this fat ele –" she slammed him again, over and over while the woman screamed, Abel holding her off.

Tim rushed into the house, recalling where he'd hung the special belt for beating; her crime - simply existing.

"You mad woman!" the woman exclaimed.
