There was no speculation about his crookedness as no one outside his close family unit knew the kinds of nefarious things he was capable to doing. No one could speculate about his secret life because he had put in a lot of funds in making himself not look or behave like a crook.
Such a declaration, if ever uttered would seem utterly unbelievable, seeing as Obong Enang Enang was a pillar of society, elder in church and a showy philanthropist. However, he was secretly best friends with crooked politicians and a host of other villains present in the state and even outside the state.
