Jim paced the length of the detective's office. The man seemed like he was middle aged with the plethora of white hair mixed in his crew cut hair and neatly trimmed beard. However, Jim had never seen any middle aged person as fit as this man. He was dark skinned, tall and lean muscled. He looked like he knew what he was doing when they had first met.

He had been distraught to find his house in disarray, in addition to a dead body on the premises. Jim had no chance to feel guilty for the dead. In fact, he had somehow been relieved not to find his kids' bodies in that house. The detective who had arrived his home before he even got there, explained that it meant his kids were still alive. Please God, let him be right, he prayed fervently, while continuing his pacing. But it was taking too long though. Why was it taking too long to hear any news about them?
