Déjà vu
Once again he had to watch a pregnant woman being rolled into surgery while he waited at the reception with bated breath and a pounding heart.
This time around he couldn't sit still, he called his dad and intimated him on the whole situation. He called Maria and told her to pack Louisa's things and that of the baby that he was coming to pick them.
A little over an hour later when he returned dressed in fresh cloths, he met his mother on his way in with Maria rolling the box of baby things behind him. Lady Otong raised her nose to sniff level and totally ignored her son as she matched out of the hospital.
"What's going on?" he asked his father, apparently he'd decided to come to the hospital after the call.
"Err…the girl, Louisa, didn't need surgery," Silas begun uncomfortably.
"That's good, right?" Casmir looked confused with a mix of dread.
