"I…if I did call you that, which I've never, ever called anyone," she pointed out vehemently, then her steady gaze dropped to where her hand touched his arm, she seemed embarrassed, "If I did call you that, then it must have been a slip of the tongue," she completed in a small voice.
"How so?" Casmir pushed, though his jealousy had retreated; she did say she'd never ever called anyone else master.
She cleared her throat uncomfortably and removed her hand from his arm, her eyes looked everywhere but at him.
Casmir had to reach out and lift her face with a finger under her jaw, "Tell me," he prodded, his heart aching eagerly to know.
She scratched her ear uncomfortably, "It's err…" she cleared her throat again and licked her lips unnecessarily, "It's a fantasy," she finally explained.
Casmir sat up in mild shock. He didn't know what to expect but that hadn't been it. "Could you explain more?" he asked in a cracked voice.
Louisa groaned mildly.
