"Where is Louisa? Have you seen Louisa?" Kenny had asked this variation of questions but always in a whisper and only to his crew and got negative replies.
It had seemed he would never get a positive answer and terror was beginning to build in heart for what Udia would do to him if the diamonds weren't found. He couldn't even understand why he had handed the pouch to her when he hadn't even trusted her enough to open his safe in her presence.
Just as he began to panic in earnest, he saw Ekom walking towards him and so he repeated the question.
"Yes, she went towards the old house to find a place to pee," he reported and Kenny jerked into a run towards the old house.
Nobody at the party seemed to notice their urgency, and if they did, they didn't care.
"Grab her friend," Kenny flung over his shoulder not particularly directing the instruction at anybody, but one of the guys swerved and returned to the party to look for Idy.
