Feeling chic in my knee-length, shimmery silver dress, I still fumed that I had to wear heels for this event. I can rock heels like a diva - a plus sisze diva. However, after hours of standing on my feet - for a royal wedding, if I might add, wearing heels for the rest of the night is something I would not have chosen to do. But it is pertinent, if this evening dress is to look fantastic. Rita felt the same way too. Nevertheless, after pulling off a fantastic royal wedding, we dared not appear like peasants in an intimate event filled with the creme de la creme of society. So, we forced ourselves and dressed in readiness to be introduced to many wealthy people as the event managers of the wedding. We needed to look the part.
