Nathan
When the door bell chimmed insistently through my house, I already knew who was at the door this early. It was a surprise I had been allowed a full night before this prospective interrogation. With how tattered I had looked rushing through the party, swerving every which way, looking for her, it is a surprise my visitor lasted the night.
Good thing though, I had been awake since four am, unable to sleep from the recurrent thoughts of the woman in the garden. I shivered just recalling everything that had happened.
I could lie to myself and say I could not get her out of my mind because that was the first time I had done something that crazy. However, whether it was my first time or not, there was no taking that experience lightly.
The mistake I had made with the groupie had been hazy - like I had not been in my right mind. I still cannot really recall what or how it had happened.
