Kate had fallen ill. She was ashamed of feeling weak only days after arriving her new husband's home. She expected he would or could use this as a point of criticism on Kate. Perhaps, he would think her lazy and unable to perform duties expected of a new wife - not the conjugal duties though, the other ones.
However, she could not blame her self too much. The illness was to be expected after the week-long of unusual activities in her basically secluded life. Not to talk of the psychological turmoils of agreeing to a loveless marriage. It was not everyday a poor village nurse gets married to an obscenely rich man's son in a paparazzi studded wedding. Even in her weak state, Kate had been unable to stop thinking of her marriage, her handsome groom and the amazing event that she would probably never forget. And there was also that kiss which was indelible in her brain at this point. Kate wondered if Kenny ever thought of her or that kiss.
