The fairies' eyes widened when they saw me with Lorcan, the King of the clan seeking to conquer the planet, and Maddy rolled her eyes at me, and I know she's disappointed right now.
"Everyone, I have a big announcement. To the point where you're demanding vengeance on behalf of a family who has vanished—"
"You're squandering your power, Queen! Why did you bring this guy to our location, since he was the one who was responsible for the robbery and the death of our people? His people were responsible for the rapes of those young women, yet he did nothing! Why is this happening, exactly? You're going to be his slave!? That's crazy!" Petit's childhood best friend cut me off, and I couldn't blame her for uttering those words without knowing what they meant.
It didn't appear to work anymore because they were all shaking their heads and seemed very mad when I didn't have a speech yet, but I didn't mind Knight rolling his eyes and staring at the wall as if he was finding out something, and I stare at all of them.
"You're the one who should blame! Please, my sister, need to suffer because of you!" I took a big breath as Gwydiom roared in front of the King, who only laughed and looked like he couldn't wait for my news.
"There is nothing wrong with him, but he has a point to make, and I don't want to be taken advantage of. I'm doing everything I can to reach a decision, and your nasty words were the last thing I needed. The white bloom, a necessity for us, is here." Ainslee grabbed her mouth in horror as I confessed as actual tears streamed from my eyes, and I tore the paper up and dropped it to the floor.
"Sovereign Afari, what are you doing? Why did you do that? Keep it because she vows to do so. She will never be proud of us, and she intends to harm us!" As everyone bowed their heads, Ainslee screamed, and I heard Knight giggling gently, which indicated that he had offended them.
"No, I don't. As well as that, she's not the original queen in this Xatheral Forest of Milan, but rather the second queen to take the throne. There are certain differences between Victoria's decision only to have a relationship with her people and Queen Amanda's. As far as I know, the Fairies are in charge of making their own rules, and I'm still following Victoria as if nothing has changed." In response to my announcement, everyone's eyes were riveted on me. They whispered something under their breath and began reading the book's changes. They sighed because they could no longer hit me with their hurtful words.
"Oh my goodness! Sovereign Afari, are you sure about this?" I nodded and breathed a sigh of relief as I looked over at Knight, who had something in his pocket. Madeleine had shed a tear and had covered her mouth, but I could see her real tears because of her eyes.
No one can believe what I'm pulling on them. I've already added my rules to the page I copied off, and it's complete with the decision and its history. Xander Luther's and Garrick Dracula's eyes were glaring at each other as the door was opened. As a result, people began to panic because there were only four of us on the stage. Gwydiom's eyes are red with rage, and I can see it.
"Pleased to meet you, ladies. There has been a change in the rules regarding vampires and fairies. For some things, this is a horrible notion, but for others, this is the only viable option. Your Queen must decide to retrieve the loved ones, and you can't hold it against her because our rules require it. After all this time, when we've come together as one. You can reclaim the love of your life." With a strong voice and a sneer on his face, Knight Lorcan proclaimed with his darkening eyes, making my heart beat faster, but I managed.
His demeanor is threatening and lethal to me. Because of the way he does it, it's capable of killing me. I gave Ainslee and Madeleine a chance to think about it, and they bent their heads and looked at me again, all of whom seemed delighted to learn but unsure.
"What happened to them, then?" The woman kept wandering around like she couldn't wait for them to get back in the doors, and I saw Xander close his eyes before I knew he didn't want to.
"Why aren't they here? I'm in dire need of my 20-year-old daughter!" Another older woman yelled in unison.
Suddenly, a door opened, and a group of young lady fairies who had already lost their powers with many wounds and tears appeared and ran to their families. "Don't worry, they'll be back now," I whispered as the door suddenly opened.
It brings a grin to my face that they finally get to hug all of their family members with a smile. He keeps rolling his eyes and seems to think they're crazy while the two great elders look at each other as if something terrible is about to happen for no reason. I turn around and face them.
"This is not right, Queen Afari. We'll be able to get them back if we can get our hands on them. Everything about this makes me wary—" even though I shook my head and held her hand with a pity reaction in my eyes, Madeleine could not finish what she was about to say.
Ainslee gave a mic to the 19-year-old victim, and Maddy agreed, as I looked down and couldn't even look at the three great elders. We were looking at a group of Fairies who appeared to be traumatized.
"This had to be said at this time. It was Knight Lorcan, clan king, who taught this squad of terrorists how to conduct their evil deeds, and he never assaulted but bit any women. I'm guessing that hybrid is already in existence? It was never an issue between the two leaders. Only Xander can stop them from doing anything, abusing or biting each other. However, it was Garrick who abused me."
