"Cheater, again?" It was Jameeka who spoke this time. Aubrey was silent, with her arms crossed on her chest.
I was shocked with how they approach me.
"Wait, Jameeka, let me explain—"
"Again? What to explain this time, huh?" She said, her brows furrowed. "We don't know how to defend you anymore, Jade. Yes, you are my girlfriend, but how come you do this to us? How come we don't know what lies behind? What's the real story?"
"But—"
"So you really choose to lie to us?" Aubrey get in between this time. "Thinking that it would save your image, while me, and Jameeka, on the other hand, felt like an idiot not knowing the true story until we discovered that!" Then she pointed the board behind me. I felt exposed.
"We tried to defend you, you see. But how come you treat us like this?" She almost cried. And I was so fucked up to not replied any word and see her in so much pain. I just can't. I am dumbfounded right at the moment.
