"Alec has a dissociative identity disorder."
There was a short pause when Malcolm heard that coming out from my mouth.
"Dissociative..." He repeated.
"Yes, it's like having a split personality," I explained while I was busy grabbing for a first aid kit. "If that's the correct term."
"So..." Malcolm still tried his best to understand the revelation.
"Yes, Alec isn't the type of guy who would prefer fighting. Because what you encountered earlier wasn't him. It was his other personality." I said, then I went back to the sofa and grab the cotton and a cleanser.
"Other personality," he kept on repeating.
"Mhm, his name is Lite." I explained. "And fun fact, that was actually his first name, you know. Lite Alec Iverson."
"That's weird cringe piece of shit."
"And that's reality. We learned it from our psych class. It was due to trauma that person unconsciously switch personality to escape their situation."
