There was a moment of silence after Alec said that beautiful phrase. This man speaks knowledge, and it's weird that I'm starting to admire it.
The wind blows all of a sudden and it sort of flew my hair in the air. I know it was already dark, but I saw Alec stared at my leg.
"The night is getting darker," he said. "I told you to come home already."
I bit my lip. "But, I wanted to know more about it."
"Why?" He said, having the same cold tone again. "Besides I only gave you the story not because I wanted to share it but because to give you answers. And you have it."
I see. I know how sensitive this issue is for Alec, knowing that I am only an acquaintance to him. He has been keeping this the whole time, protecting himself, but I really wanted to know more about it. I may be not that smart but Alec should know we're on the same ground.
"It's not about me minding your business too," I explained. "It's just that...we're actually the same."
