Aiden became my best friend that time. I don't know if it was by accident or by fate that I have met him on the restaurant. We only used to joke about him buying me a drink for free. Of course he always tend to refuse because I am a bad drunkard.
But this time around, I never thought, his series of refusing was a sign to reserve me a drink for a moment like this.
There was no typhoon but the rain didn't stop. The skies are also heavy and the atmosphere is cold. But I never felt that since I was warmed by the alcohol.
I told Aiden the whole story, I didn't know how I started and he didn't know how it ended. He offered to drop me off at Malcolm's house, and I let him. On the other hand, Malcolm wasn't on the apartment when he dropped me off so Aiden took care of me for the mean time.
I found myself the next morning with a blanket covering my body. I don't know where Aiden went after I fell asleep but I have seen a note on one side and I read it.
