When Kala entered the bedroom, Lady was already wearing her night gown.
"I'm so sleepy, Bee. Sleep first, okay?" said Lady while kissing Kala's left cheek.
"Nite, Honey." Kala went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth, then took off all the clothes he was wearing, leaving his black boxers behind. Immediately, he followed Lady. Kala is used to sleeping shirtless, wearing only boxers or sometimes underpants.
He saw the Lady was asleep. He lay down next to his beloved wife. His mind wandered, remembering what happened three years ago when they first knew each other.
Kala is not the guy who thinks about love and all things romantic. He prefers to work in the office. Because of that, his parents decided to introduce, or rather match up with, children from their peers.
Kala was still as usual. He didn't respond too much at the dinner for introductions. Likewise, when he met Lady. As Kala recalled, this woman was the sixth candidate presented by her parents.
It was not the love that Kala felt, but there was a sense of attraction to this beautiful woman with long hair with perfect curves. Elegance and firmness, clearly visible from every expression and movement of Lady. The way she speaks, the vocabulary she uses, it's all simply stunning.
Lady also felt the same. For her, love is not important. She needs a husband who is smart, competent, able to manage their large family business, with an appearance that certainly does not disappoint.
They are both the sole heirs of the family business. Both of them love work, not romance, let alone dramatic. This similarity makes them feel comfortable and comfortable with each other.
Both are only children, also a powerful reason for them to collaborate. They don't want to bother with brother-in-law's affairs, power struggles, and inheritance. It would be more comfortable if they were the only children. All decisions about the family can be made easier and faster because it does not involve many parties.
Over time, they felt they needed each other, complementing each other as a couple. But when asked about love, maybe both of them never knew what love was. What is being done now is comforting each other, guaranteeing the happiness of both parties, and that's enough for them.
Everyone always praises the couple, both physical compatibility and compactness, in taking care of work and household. Seems to be perfect.
Kala gets annoyed with people who always ask when he will have a baby. Some have concluded that they do not want to have children because they are both workaholics. However, not infrequently also cynical by gossiping is that one of them must be infertile.
The biggest reason is certainly not because of other people, but Kala wants to have children. He wanted to feel like a father. There is an insignificant creature who will greet him every afternoon when he comes home from work.
He can't wait. Tomorrow, he will immediately ask Pandu to investigate Embun. Slowly, Kala's eyes dimmed, falling fast asleep following Lady in dreamland.

"Morning, my Bee." A peck landed on Kala's lips. Kala open one eye. He saw Lady was wearing a tracksuit.
"Want to jog?" asked Kala, while trying to collect lives.
"Yes, continue to have breakfast with friends. I'll go first, okay? Bik Maneh has prepared breakfast for you," said Lady, waving her hand.
Kala looked at his wife's back, away from their room. Lady rarely go to the office. All company affairs, technically handled directly by Kala. Sometimes they discuss at home or in the office. The woman is busy with socialite friends, shopping, or spending time in the art room.
Lady loves painting and fine arts. Therefore, there is a special room in this house that is used as a private art studio. His favorite place to spend time.
Kala immediately got up after feeling his life was complete and headed for the bathroom. He glanced at the clock on the wall in the room. It was 6:30.
After bathing, Kala went to the dining room to eat breakfast that had been prepared by Bik Maneh, his favorite maid.
"Morning, Den Bee," said Bik Maneh spoiled.
"Gosh, Bik. Since when did you call me that? If you can hear it, Lady will scold you," said Kala, amused, because Bee was his wife's affectionate nickname for him.
"Oh, Den, once in a while when there's no Non Honey." Bik Maneh tempts Kala even more. She had often heard the two of them calling each other affectionately.
Bik Maneh was a little jealous of the intimacy of her two employers. Asep, the husband, who can't be invited to be compact with affectionate calls. Even now, he always calls Bik Maneh 'Fat', if not 'Barrel'.
Even though I'm not fat, I'm just overweight, thought Bik Maneh comforting herself.
"I can't bear it if Lady hears, then she gets angry. Ha ha ha." Kala could not help but laugh at the coquettish behavior of his assistant.
"Please eat, Den Bee," said Bik Maneh with a spoiled glance.
"Sit here, Bik. Eat with me." He pointed to the chair in front of him.
"Ugh, Den. Auntie has eaten earlier," she refused.
"Geez, I just asked Bik Maneh to sit down and accompany me while I was eating. Don't ask me to eat," Kala teased.
"Oh, nevermind. Guess you were forced to eat too. Auntie can't refuse if he's forced to," she replied with a chuckle.
"Mang Asep, how is he, Bi?" Kala opening a conversation about her husband. He had memorized it. One question would be answered in length times width times height by Bik Maneh. Even if you ask about her husband, the story will spread to the neighbors.
Not bad, so it's not lonely. Telling her to chatter, thought Kala.
Sure enough. Bik Maneh has chattered non-stop about her husband, children, parents, neighbors, RT, to the herbalist in her village. Like a singer, she can live show for five albums concerts at once. If likened to a news program, this woman is like the World in the News. All things discussed.
Finally, Kala finished without saying a word throughout the meal. He only listened to the chatter of the woman in front of him while occasionally chuckling at the funny stories that came out of Bik Maneh's mouth.
"Den, yesterday I heard you were looking for a womb rental, didn't I?" asked Bik Maneh suddenly.
"Cough.... Bik, are you eavesdropping?" Kala glared angrily, because he was choking and knew that his assistant was eavesdropping on the conversation.
"Oh, don't eavesdrop, Den. Aunt wants to hear the voice of ah uh ah uh round two. Eh, not even there. I accidentally even heard about renting a womb," she answered innocently.
