Rachel found Antonin standing alone on the hospital balcony when she arrived that evening to visit him. Rachel came in after visiting hours, and thanks to her connections and excuses, she was able to stay in Antonin's room as her guardian. In fact, Antonin was not allowed to be visited frequently, even for more than two hours because his status was still under further observation.
Rachel also realized that it might be dangerous on Antonin's side considering what Lars had said before he came here. However, wasn't Antonin alone right now? As a friend, Rachel would definitely regret it if she couldn't accompany the man.
Antonin turned as Rachel slid open the balcony door and came toward him. It was obvious he had no idea Rachel was visiting.
"Why did you come last night? You'll be kicked out in a bit," Antonin said, only to receive a sarcastic smile from Rachel.
