As was a family tradition, Rachel poured Eva and Alan a bottle of wine after dinner. Rachel abstained from drinking even though she did at night because her blood alcohol level had to be kept to a minimum. However, the atmosphere of the small family that night remained the same, always warm even though they had kept their distance.
"How did your political clients get ICNG-257 still in their heads? Did they complain to you?" asked Alan curiously.
"At first they were scared, but after seeing me free, even going back to work at CI and monitoring the microchip, they came to believe it." Rachel leaned back casually into her chair, a sign that she was confident and not having any problems. Talking in front of Alan or Eva had to be like that because if he didn't, he'd just make things more complicated with unnecessary worries.
"Then is it true that you will restart CI like before?"
