Chapter 60 - Antonin Jailed

The officer removed the handcuffs that locked Rachel's hands. She was released today, but someone had to replace her. Rachel survived because of Antonin's testimony. The man sacrificed himself, willing to be imprisoned for an unpredicted period. 

"Can I talk to him for a moment?" Rachel asked the attendant accompanying her. She was then allowed to approach Antonin for five minutes before he was brought to a holding cell.

"Antonin!" she called the man. Without too much thinking, she hugged Antonin tightly. Officers who saw them also understood to provide a little privacy.

"Rachel, sorry to have misunderstood you," Antonin whispered. He wanted to hug her back for so long, but his hands couldn't.

Rachel then released herself, holding Antonin's hands tightly. "I also apologize for the misunderstanding and accusing you without checking the truth. Just calm down, I'm free now, and I'll get you out of here soon, no matter what," she said determinedly.
