A warden led Rachel into the visiting room, saying someone wanted to see her. Rachel wasn't too curious because if it wasn't Lars reporting, it would be Eva, Lisa, or Jackson. However, Rachel's guess was wrong. She even had a few seconds of silence before continuing her steps when she saw who was waiting for her with an ambiguous smile.
"How are you, Rachel?"
Emma, a woman with a graceful demeanor, greeted her in a friendly manner. Surely, Rachel understood that it wasn't hospitality but more a mockery.
Officer then asked Rachel to sit down and left the two to talk for the next hour.
"What are you doing here? You can say anything through my lawyer or ask the prosecutor to charge me with more guilt. Why did you meet me in person?" Rachel asked sarcastically. She stared intently at Emma, whose expression couldn't be guessed. The politician woman is too manipulative.
