Chapter 190: Dawn Versus Cosmic Entity. (Part 6)

"Ugh. Where am I.." A voice said as he opened his eyes slowly. The glare from the scarlet energy caused him to squint his eyes and covered the glare using his hand. Reed Richards a.k.a Mr. Fantastic finally woke up from his 1 year long sleep. His beard and hair was unkempt, so did the males who were woken up with him.

Benjamin Grimm opened his eyes, but his attention was not on the ominous scarlet energy in front of him, but at the sight of his human hand. It has been years since he turned into the Thing and lost his human appearance.

Susan Storm could only stand up with her brother's help. Although Johnny felt exhausted from the continuous burning, he still helped her sister to move. She was looking at Reed who was looking at the energy swirl in front of them.

"Reed." She called out with a hoarse voice, her hand was placed gently on the small bump on her stomach. That small bump was actually the one making the reality rewrite possible, but the Skrulls weren't clear on that.

Susan Storm was disappointed. Her husband actually pays attention to something that intrigues him again instead of helping her.

"Hey. Who are you guys?" Peter Quill asked.

"I am Benjamin Grimm. You can call me Ben." Ben replied to the team's saviour. "That's Susan Storm and Johnny Storm…" Ben pointed at the siblings. "...And that is Reed Richards." He pointed at Reed with a clear disdain in his tone.

Reed snapped out of his focus and noticed that Susan was struggling to stand. He wanted to go help but Johnny and Ben stopped him. "Haven't you done enough Reed?" Johnny said with venom in his tone.

"It wasn't his fault…" Susan tried to explain.

Quill however, didn't have the time to witness the drama. "I am Peter Quill. You can call me Star-Lord. That is Gamora and Adam. We are trying to stop the machine to rewrite everyone's existence, turning everyone into Skrulls."

Gamora said from afar after beheading another fake scientist. "They used you as a catalyst for it. We are hoping you can give input on how to stop it. But if you want to bicker, just go outside. We don't need you here."

She added again, "My boss cruised for weeks, facing head on with an intergalactic army and cosmic entity to come and save you. I really don't understand why seeing that you're just a bunch of whiners."

"Who did?" Susan asked.

"Dawn Everstar." Gamora replied, lest the woman get another idea to put the credit on someone else.

"Who is that? I never heard of him." Johnny asked, puzzled by the entire situation.

"Well. You will after this. The whole galaxy will." Gamora muttered with a grin.

"Can we really leave?" Johnny asked.

"Dude. Just go." Quill said in exasperation. The Four looked toward each other, and decided to move away from the machines.

"We, however, need you. Reed Richards." Adam Warlock said, floating from above toward Reed before he could join the rest. "Even without power, you might be able to help."

Reed looked toward Susan, wanting to be with her more than anything. "I-"

Johnny scoffed, "As usual. Reed can fix everything."

"Johnny…" Reed muttered, but his guilt stopped him from muttering another word.

"Let's go." Johnny said to Ben. Ben took one last look at Reed and shook his head. They wanted to bring Susan outside and check on her. Being intermittently frozen and taken out from their ice box to be researched and tortured had taken a toll on them.

Reed looked down and clenched his fist. "Victor…" He muttered with abhor in his tone.

"Can you do it Mr. Richard?" Adam asked again to urge him as time wasn't their friend.

"I will take a look." The genius replied. "If I could do something, I need to at least try."

Inside the Skrull Pantheon, the Deviant Skrull Goddess, the ancestor of all Skrulls, sensed that something had happened to her husband. The one who had been with her for aeons couldn't be sensed any more.

She started to become berserk in her battle with Phyla-Vell.

"Oh hell…" Phyla-Vell muttered as the opponent shapeshifted into a 10 metre tall titan and punched at her from above. She flew backward, but the opponent shapeshifted into a giant snake and coiled around her body. The tremendous pressure almost shattered her bones.

Freeing her hand slowly, she used her Quantum sword, stabbed into the eye of the giant snake but the body quickly shrunken down and transformed into an acid spitting lion.

The Skrull god can shapeshift into anything she could think of. The modern Skrull nowadays only received a watered down power of her, and they could only shapeshift into something they had seen or copied.

However, the viciousness of the deviant gene was also inherited as the Deviant Skrull won the war between the eternal and the deviant – leading some of the Skrulls to become mad. Skrulls such as Dorrek VII.

The shapeshifter god returned to her humanoid look, but she had 8 arms on her body, each with a different weapon on it. Two chackram, two short swords, one hammer, one whip, one spear, and one arrow.

"All of you must die for your defiance." The Skrull god said and shot her arrow at Phyla-Vell. She in turn summoned a circular shield using her quantum energy to block. However, that wasn't the Skrull Goddess aim.

She closed the distance while Phyla-Vell was immobile to block and swung her hammer at the bangle Phyla-Vell was wearing.

CRACKKK.

The Nega-Band was almost shattered by the attack, and could barely stay intact.

'I…Will die…' Phyla-Vell thought. The Nega-band was the source of her power. Without it, she won't be able to survive. Especially when she was fighting a true and mad goddess. The Goddess's head shapeshifted into a hand and stretched out to grab Phyla-Vell's body.

The giant hand picked up the flustered opponent and brought her face to face(hand) with the Goddess. "You're a noble warrior. However, you picked the wrong side."

Phyla-Vell knew instinctively that any effort to draw power using the Nega-band will make it shatter into pieces. She looked at the Goddess with a look of determination.

"I am not on anyone's side. I am on my side. I know that what you're doing is wrong. That's why I need to stop you."

Phyla-Vell drew the Quantum realm power using her Nega-band and created a Quantum Sword for one last attack. But instead of using the sword to break free, she threw the sword on the throne the Goddess was sitting before.

She noticed that in their battle before, the Goddess especially didn't want her to get near the throne. 'Whether my gamble works, I do not know.' She thought as she closed her eyes.

The Skrull Goddess couldn't stop the sword. It hit the throne that was also the cage for Origin, the cosmic entity that was the opposite of Unbeing.

"NOO!!" She yelled out and she stabbed Phyla-Vell with her spear and short sword. The two swords penetrated her stomach while the spear penetrated her heart. The Goddess threw her lifeless body on the ground where she started to gurgle blood.

The cosmic entity slipped out from the interdimensional cage that has been keeping him for two weeks and disappeared from the pantheon. In her rage, the Skrull Goddess shapeshifted into a 500 metre tall giant, trying to find the Origin and drag the bug back into her cage.

The ceiling of the pantheon cracked, and debris fell around Phyla-Vell's body. The Skrull Goddess kept increasing in size, completely breaking the ceiling and appeared on the horizon of the ongoing war.

Kai saw the giant Skrull goddess with 8 arms from afar from mid-air.

"Is that the Skrulls hidden weapon?" Annika stopped beside Kai and asked. She kept kicking the air to prevent falling in altitude.

"Nah. You don't have to worry about it." Kai said in a disappointed tone, making Annika puzzled by his response. Kai wanted to go, but another guy was already there. He then continues to decimate the Skrull army with a bored look on his face.

10 minutes before, at a location far away from the warfront.

"I really am the same as the Asgardian," Dawn muttered in a deep and baritone voice that could make Hela swoon. He finally stopped when his age reached 5000 years old. His complexion was still a young man in his 30s, and he pointed his staff of Yggdrasil at the Mad King.

"Come."

Dawn felt something weird. In his state, he could sense the world tree clearly and how it was connected to the other realms even though he was lightyears away. 'Curios.' He thought before he focused back on his easy battle.

The Mad King was frozen in fear before the Unbeing jolted his existence back to reality. Something about the grimoire made the Unbeing shiver with its entire being, as it sensed something that could destroy it in its entirety inside.

"Beno Yeven." Dawn muttered as he brought down his staff. Quickly, the grimoire turned to the page with the magic and illusionary wall started to appear, separating the space Dawn and Dorrek were battling in from reality itself.

'The watered down version consumes half of my magic? What kind of monster are you, Anos Voldigoad?' Dawn thought as his magic quickly sapped away – His magic that was on par with Odin's magic power at this moment.

Dorrek didn't realise that he was already trapped, and he drew the power of the Unbeing to try to delete something related to him.

"Today. I was never here." Dorrek said quickly and anxiously. He then disappeared from being in front of Dawn as the reality altering power of the Unbeing was activated.

A loud popping sound was heard and Dorrek suddenly found himself in another place…only 20 metres away from his last location.

"WHAT!"

"I am telling you now. There is no escape." Dawn muttered.

"T-then. Don't blame me for this!!" Dorrek tried to appear tough, but he wasn't fooling anyone. He wasn't a super-powered being nor was he a super skrull. Dorrek was ordinary in all that he was.

Dorrek syphoned the Unbeing power to alter reality once more." I am a God. "

To create superpower was against the Unbeing ways as he abhorred the super-powered being and heroes, but the cosmic entity didn't have any choice.

BOOM

Tremendous pressure flowed from Dorrek's body as he ascended almost instantly. He raised his hand as he gathered the cosmic energy of the world and shapeshifted another hand to create weapons. Both of the Eternal and the Deviant gene inside him was activated, making him the best of both.

With newfound confidence, Dorrek VII snapped his eyes open in a disgusting manner and took a look at Dawn.

When an Ant looks at an Elephant, he may not comprehend the creature in front of him and its might as they were too different in status. However, he could do so now. Dorrek now had ascended to become a common house cat, while Dawn was still a T-Rex. The little feline raised all of its fur and should have ran away instantly, but they were locked inside a cage together.

The Skrull king finally realised it. There was nothing that he could do or could change that would allow him to survive today.

Dawn lost interest in the battle instantly. "Dogda Azbedara: Supreme Flame Magic Heavy Cannon."

Highly explosive flame magic trailed towards the enemy in the form of a blue star.

The power behind the magic was sensed by Dorrek as he could feel his super-durable flesh of a god being cooked even when the magic was 100 metres away from him.

"Wait. I know the codes to… STOP THE MACHINES." Dorrek yelled before the magic hit him.

POOF

The entirety of the false god turned into a charred meat paste from Dawn's magic. "That's it?" Dawn muttered as he pursed his lips. "I spent almost half of my money in the trading site for a 20 second battle?" He pricked his palm and let out a drop of blood. The blood was then dripped onto the Skrull King remnant while Dawn muttered an incantation. "Ingal"

Ingal – Resurrection magic which allows the user to revive anyone who has died in the past 3 seconds.

The charred corpse of the Skrull King then revitalises, making him return to his state before he dies.

"NO. PLEASE!" The King begged.

"Girasd." Black lighting appeared on Dawn's palm, and it shot out toward the Skrull King.

"ARGGGHH!!" Dorrek screamed as his flesh was burned…again. The mad king died for the second time, before Dawn resurrected him.

"Unbeing. Come out. Otherwise he would die infinitely until you do." Dawn muttered to the cosmic being. He felt a cold breath running through his spine as something terrifying had become interested in him. However, inside the cage that separated from the rest of the universe, even Death couldn't do anything to stop him from resurrecting the man in front of him.

The Unbeing hides deeply inside of Dorrek's existence, not wanting to come out. Dorrek died 10 times before he started to beg the Unbeing to let him go. "Please…Please…let me die…" The King already lost all trace of his pride. He knew now how stupid he was to wanted to conquer the entire universe with this type of being roaming around in it.

His entire body was being compressed to a size less than a coin. Frozen, burned, disintegrated, and many more. Dawn got bored waiting for the Unbeing that he decided to become creative.

"Please. Have mercy." Dorrek begged while kowtowing at Dawn's feet.

"You have sowed war. Reaped its benefit after killing your own people, all in a mad pursuit for power. And you dare to beg me for mercy?" Dawn muttered coldly and flicked his finger.

"ARGGHH!" Dorrek screamed as he disintegrated yet again. Dorrek was never Dawn's purpose in the first place. What he wanted was revenge for the being that took his arm. The Unebing was locked together with him inside the cage, however he couldn't force the cosmic entity out from its hiding spot.

The grimoire then flipped toward a new page as it sensed Dawn's difficulty.

"Evenite." Dawn muttered. A special magic coated his arm and he used it to pry away the Unbeing from its 4th dimension hiding place. The leech screamed and tried to run away, abandoning Dorrek without any hesitation – the man who had saved him by dying more than 100 times.

'Is the book being updated in real life? I don't think there was a page for it before this.' Dawn thought secretly while studying the grimoire in front of him.

"SCREECH-" The Unbeing screamed after it was taken out from its hiding place. "Finally got you." Dawn muttered eerily.

"Destruction Magic: Giginuvenuens (Decapitation Destruction Death Penalty Execution)"

He planted a seed of destruction inside the Unbeing existence, wanting to completely remove it from the Universe permanently. A black restraint appeared and locked the Unbeing beneath a jet-black guillotine blade. The being screamed as he faced certain death.

The blade almost fell when Dawn heard a female ethereal voice coming from above him.

"Please stop. Dawn Everstar."

After finishing the male god, Ryan Knight noticed that Phyla-Vell was struggling in her match. He also knew that Reed wouldn't be able to stop the machine – not that he couldn't, but there was too little time to study the machine completely.

"Hmm..eenie meenie miney moe…" He playfully pointed at the place that needed him more. "Wait. I can be in both places at the same time." He hit his forehead in a playful manner before his body split into two just like a cell undergoing a mitosis process.

"I need to give Natasha a reward for this power." Ryan muttered as he split into two directions. Using his magic circuit, he had copied and saved Natasha's ways of splitting up after she was injected with compound V.

One of him teleported toward the pantheon to help Phyla-Vell while another waltzed toward the laboratory.

Ryan then came across the Fantastic Three that were evacuating from the laboratory. Despite their anger at Reed, they were waiting for him at the front door of the laboratory. Susan was sitting with Johnny while Ben was leaning back on the wall with his arm crossed.

"Why are you guys still here?" Ryan asked.

"You know us too?" Ben asked, but Ryan ignored him. "Jessica Alba, are you okay?" He asked Susan.

"Who is Jessica…Alba?" Susan widened her eyes when she heard the question. Ryan quickly scanned her condition and noticed that she was in a pretty bad condition.

"Why don't you guys wait at the ship? I will help Reed don't worry about it." He said and threw a disk on the ground. The compressed disk quickly turned into a flying platform that would allow the team to enter the Arcadia undetected.

"Listen guy. I am not sure whether you're telling the truth or lying. We don't know you enough to trust you." Johnny said. "My brother in law is an asshole. But you don't abandon your family."

[Fast and Furious soundtrack playing~] …only inside of Ryan's head.

"Can you trust the Vice President of the United States then?" Ryan asked with a smirk.

"Why? You know him?" Johnny asked sarcastically. He was a bit dissatisfied with Ryan as the guy was more handsome than him.

"Of course I know him. He is me." Ryan replied, stunning the group in front of him. "I'm sure you know by now that you aren't in the same universe as before you came to the planet."

Susan nodded slightly as she had heard the conversation between the Skrulls scientist before this about their situation.

"I'm sure that when you learn about me, you will know that my words carry the truth. Go to the ship and take cover. Susan is too weakened right now. Prolong this condition, and it might be harmful for the baby."

Johnny and Ben widened their eyes and instantly put their guard up. "How do you know about the pregnancy?" Ben asked. Only the Skrulls knew about it. One of the reasons he didn't want to step onto Ryan's platform was because the one in front of him might be a Skrull.

"Just go. And if you're still stubborn. Here." Ryan threw a small vial containing a purple fluid toward Susan. Johnny catched it mid-air before Susan did.

"It contained a revitalising fluid of my own design. You can recover some of your strength if you really want to wait. I'll leave the platform here for you if you decide to change your mind."

Ryan then waved at the team as he entered the laboratory. The energy veil tried to stop him, but it was no use. He casually entered the lab and walked next to Adam and Reed.

"Any luck?" Ryan asked. Both of the guys were shocked and put their guard up when he appeared. Gamora widened her eyes as she knew the nerd who appeared seemingly out of knowhere.

"You're…Arcadia Scientist?" Gamora said unsure. She knew about Ryan but she didn't have the time to learn about everyone aboard the ship before.

"Sure. Let's go with that." Ryan said and started to press some of the buttons near the energy swirl. He also entered an USB stick that could adapt to any computer port in the galaxy.

"Hey. What are you-" Reed exclaimed as he catched Ryan's hand to prevent him from doing anymore damage – or so he thought.

He had been trying hard to decipher the Skrulls' language and barely managed to understand it before Ryan came. Suddenly, all of the displays that used the Skrulls language turned into the English language, shocking Reed.

"Can you let go of my hand now?"

"Ah. Sorry."

"No worries. I understand your suspicion. Now. Instead of stopping this, you'll help me to do something else. Don't worry, I will teach you slowly." Ryan said teasingly.

The battle on the Skrulls planet had gotten the attention of the Elders of the Universe. The Elders wouldn't pay attention to the lives of the mortals if their lives have no cosmological significance, or beings of importance came into play.

Rubanna Quormo, the Elders by the name of Caregiver had come to talk to Dawn after he managed to pry the Unbeing from its hiding place.

Standing mid-air just outside of Dawn's cage, the pupilless Caregiver stared at Dawn with a sad look on her face. The other Elders such as the Explorer, the Possessor, Contemplator and Obliterator had pushed the responsibility to save the Unbeing from Dawn as she was responsible to nurture such beings – hence the name Caregiver.

The 5 metre tall, three-boob female being in a green satin dress said in an ethereal voice, "Greetings. Life god."

Dawn however had the look of contempt on his face as the being had stopped him from getting his revenge. It was without doubt his current state was even stronger than the Elders of the Universe. The usually arrogant beings had to be respectful toward him as they had no other choice.

"Why have you come, Caregiver?" Dawn asked, halting the guillotine from falling down and beheading the Unbeing.

"Life God. I come to plead for the Unbeing." Rubanna said with a calm tone, despite her fear of the man in front of her. She may be immortal and could make others immortal, but she didn't have much strength in a fight – not on the level to survive from Dawn. She could handle the attack from various strong beings otherwise.

Dawn scoffed. "You come to plead for the beings that wanted to erase reality as we know it? You must make a compelling case if you want 'it' to survive.

Rubenna gulped her saliva and spoke carefully. "The Unbeing and the Origin. Both of them were created at the same time by the will of the universe itself. One cannot exist without the other."

Seeing that Dawn was listening to her, she quickly raised her impression on the terrifying entity in front of her. Not many powerful beings have the patience to listen to others point of view.

"I am not asking for you to let him go. You can kill him." Rubenna said as she too was mad of the Unbeings interference in the event of a civilization."

"So. You're not asking me to let him go?" Dawn asked.

"No. I am merely asking you to not destroy the concept of the Unbeing. Your action would cause an imbalance in the Universe concept, and chaos would run free."

She was only asking Dawn not to destroy the source of the Unbeing. If Dawn killed it, then the consciousness of the being would disappear and it would take more than 100,000 years for it to be born again.

But if Dawn destroyed it, the Origin would break free of its restriction and his purpose to create heroes would run amok. Without the Unbeing to balance the scale, Origin could make some terrifying beings getting born in the universe, both good and bad.

"I could exchange your benevolence for immortality, not that you needed it." Rubenna tried to plead again after seeing Dawn's silence.

Dawn's POV.

'It's hateful.' I stared at the bug-like creature in front of me. 'There is truth in her words, but still…'

I sensed the presence of another being outside of the cage. A cicada-like being trying to beg me to let the Unbeing go from the 4th dimension. Even the Caregiver didn't notice that the cicada was there.

'So that's the Origin.' I thought. I then held the stump of the arm that was taken away from me. 'All of this was because the Unbeing tried to eliminate me from existence. An existence that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.'

'Is his action true? Am I really shouldn't be here?'

'My whole being wanted me to go back to the island and hide again from the rest of the world. I only agreed to go out in the galaxy because Ryan figured out ways to make Hela come with me. '

I created a minuscule hole in the cage, and the Origin entered through the hole and landed into my palm. Although the cicada wasn't saying anything, I knew that he was comforting me because of my lack of origin.

He shared with me the Skrulls gods plans, and how he was locked up inside the Deviant Skrull thrones. Their incarnation at this time was on the Skrulls planet, and the Skrull God had taken advantage of that.

'If I kill him, are you going to die too?' I asked the cicada. It slowly nodded his head to answer me.

I saw that Rubenna was flustered as she saw the Origin on my palm. She didn't know about me, but I know about her. These Elder gods will demand things from you. Save the universe, save something-something, kill something else.

But when you asked them to save your mother who was dying of cancer after you saved the universe, they said they couldn't interfere as your mothers life didn't have any importance in the universe.

That happened to the male Quasar – the Quasar before Phyla-Vell. But the timeline is so messed up that I don't think a male Quasar ever existed here. Even Mar-Vell doesn't exist.

Turning my attention back to the Origin on my palm, I wondered if it was a correct decision to kill the Unbeing. The Origin had done nothing wrong in this matter, but he too would lose his life because of my revenge.

Am I too egotistical? Am I too ruthless that I would sacrifice an innocent just for a moment of pleasure?

I suddenly felt something bite my hand. The Origin had done so to attract my attention as I was lost in my thoughts.

'You think what I am doing is right?' I was shocked when I heard it said that. It then explained to me that their purpose was to create and dismantle, to exist in an equilibrium without any bias toward one another.

But, the Unbeing was used by a super-powered person hundreds or thousands of years ago. It was hard for the cosmic entity to keep track of time as it exists far away from it. That was when the Unbeing sentience developed hatred for the super-powered beings.

'So. You want me to reset the relationship between you two?' I asked.

The cicada nodded, and flew next to the Unbeing. The parasitic bug of the Unbeing tried to attack the Origin. He was too lost in his hatred that he forgot about the blade hanging above him.

Their existence hurts each other, but they were friends for aeons. 'Even after all of this. You want to be with your friend?' I asked him. 'I could find a way to make you live.' I said to the cicada.

The cicada shook his head. [ WE EXIST…AND DIE TOGETHER… HE IS ME…AND I AM HIM…HIS HATRED…WAS ALSO MY HATRED… MY LOVE…IS ALSO HIS LOVE…]

I saw the Skrull Goddess coming into my direction. She was anxious and wanted to bring the Origin back to her cage.

"FUCK OFF!!!" I yelled in anger as I pointed my staff at the Goddess. "BEBESD!!"

It was a spell to destroy the Goddess at her root.  The top of my staff was stained with dense black magic particles. Then, a black lance shot out from the staff, directly onto the 500 metre tall Goddess's heart.

The spell directly bypassed the Goddess' immortality and all of her defences. Her berserk eyes lost their light and she fell to her knees. I saw that Rubenna was shaking in her boots as the spell could've killed her too. She tried to appear calm but I could read her like an open book.

The blade that was hanging on top of the Unbeing dissipated into particles of light. The Unbeing tried to run away after that, but I held it in my left arm together with the cicada.

I turned to the Origin, and saw that he had accepted his fate. Slowly, I squashed both of them by gripping my palm. That's how the beings that had existed for millions of years died, being killed by a monster. By me.
