"Char~Char~"
"Eevee~ Eevee~"
While Dawn was sitting on the Captain's chair, an intense discussion between Charmander and Eevee was happening in front of him. He grabbed a bucket of popcorn and was listening intently at the discussion.
Charmander lost his temper and started to spew flame, causing Eevee to run to dodge it. Dawn flicked a popcorn kernel on the baby pokemon's head, knocking him backward, making him stop.
Charmander rubbed his painful forehead and glared at Dawn after he stood back up. Dawn shook his finger at the baby and gave him a warning. Charmander pouted and puffed his cheeks – a technique to get out of trouble that he learned from Doreen, the girl who could talk to Pokemons before this.
Well, the technique might have worked if the one he's facing wasn't distracted.
"Dawn. Where are you!" Hela narrowed her eyes at Dawn as she walked briskly toward the place he was sitting.
"What? I'm listening to a conversation about who would win, a dinosaur fish or a fish dinosaur." He replied. In his spare time, he stayed with the baby pokemon to train them lest they caused trouble in the realm.
"That's the same thing!" Hela retorted.
"Tell that to them. Not me." Dawn said as he pointed at the little pokemons. The pokemons saw Hela and ran toward her. Then, they started to dance around her in circles. Hela was annoyed and snapped at them. They were startled and ran away while giggling.
"They are too spoiled!" Hela said with a fake displeasure in her voice.
"You're the ones who spoiled them though. If I didn't stop you, you would bring all of the pokemons onboard the ship." Dawn replied casually while popping a popcorn kernel in his mouth.
The Goddess of death always has a soft spot on animals. Especially the ones who are loyal to her.
"Dawn. We need to talk about your next course of action. Going to the King's planet to negotiate Veranke's release is stupid."
"Or. Is it the best way to do it?"
"Nah. It's stupid." Hela said decisively.
Dawn shook his head and pulled Hela to sit on his lap. She was bigger than him that the sight was a bit comical. Hela smiled softly and rested her head on Dawn's chest.
"The Skrull is one of the most dangerous civilizations in the Andromeda region. We need justification to enter their interplanetary line. After that, a random terrorist will kill Veranke while we are on the planet. That's how we're going to get rid of her."
"Why don't we just kill her now?"
"We could. It won't be much of a problem. But I need to get close to the King first. I don't mind if he targets me for Veranke's death. However, if he targets Earth, Ryan's plan will become much more difficult to complete."
He would make a decision after studying the King's character.
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard from outside of the ship's hull, snapping Dawn and Hela out of their affectionate petting.
"Who Dares!" Hela said and teleported into the command room. Dawn followed her directly after, and they finally saw the idiot who was stupid enough to crashed into Arcadia to get Dawn's attention.
"Heyyyy. I will come to fight you again!" Hercules said while waving his arm at Dawn. His shirtless body and face helmet braved the void of space easily. The absence of oxygen didn't even bother the god of Olympus.
Once, Hercules was only a demigod. But after he was dead, his father took the god part of his soul and revived him as a true god.
"Why are the gods in Marvel all so weird?" Dawn said underneath his breath.
"What did you say?" Hela asked as she didn't catch that.
"Nothing. I said you'd become more beautiful everyday." Dawn said and kissed her cheek. Park Shin let out a fake gag from jealousy. Dawn took out his staff and teleported outside the ship to confront Hercules.
"You know you could knock right?" Dawn said as he greeted the immortal god.
Compared to the Asgardians who were an extremely long-lived race, Olympian was actually a true immortal where they won't die from old age. Because of their immortality, they get bored a lot. Some dabbled in hedonistic lifestyle, even turned into a duck and seduced the wife of a Greek man. Some stay true to their personality, like Hercules in front of him.
He is strong and brave. He also has a dark impulse inside of him where he won't bow down to anyone except his father and will fall into a psychotic rage once he was denied his wish.
In terms of physical capabilities, Hercules was even stronger than Thor. He could even stop Mjolnir with his bare hand when they were fighting. However, he didn't have the might of Thunder or control over the elements like Thor does. His weakness was mostly magic, which Thor had in abundance.
"I hitched a ride on a nearby spaceship to get here." Hercules said with a warm smile on his face, and a golden mace on his hand.
When they first met, he was hostile toward Dawn and they even fought together. Finally, Dawn buried him using his plant roots and dragged him near a planet's core. It took him two days to crawl back up to the surface.
"Really? I thought that your dad sent you here." Dawn mocked. Hercules was a bit stunned after he was seen though.
"Zeus…Is interested in you." Hercules conveyed.
Dawn got goosebumps all over his skin and he unconsciously clenched his buttocks.
"Not that way you f*ck-" Hercules cursed. Dawn didn't stop his vigilance and let Hercules continue speaking. "A banquet for new gods is in celebration. The event will take place in the new year. The King of the Gods is personally inviting you to Omnipotence city to welcome you."
After hearing Zeus' intention, Dawn was a bit surprised. "He also asked me to give you a warning." Hercules continued.
"Zorr' Kiri. The Goddess of Love for the Skrull that you're planning on meeting with, was found dead less than 24 hours ago."
"What!" Dawn widened his eyes in total shock this time.
"Witnesses said that her neck was cut off with a black sword. We're still searching for the culprit, but the clues are small." Hercules continued.
Dawn knew why Zeus was warning him. At this moment, the Mandalorian legend in the galaxy had grown until it reached a ridiculous stage. And he was also famous for using a black sword.
Dawn could sense Zeus' prying eyes someplace to monitor his reaction. It seemed that Zeus had come to a conclusion that he had nothing to do with the God Killer. And with him free of suspicion, so does the Mandalorian.
'That's a relief.' Dawn thought secretly. Zeus was by no means a good guy although he tried to display the persona of one. And if Zeus decided to make trouble for him, it would be hard for him to escape pursuit.
'Is it time for the God Butcher? But it's too early isn't it?' Dawn thought.
"Now Dawn Everstar. Prepare yourself for the next battle- Poof-"
Before Hercules could finish his word, Dawn knocked him backward using an air cannon magic, prompting the Greek god to exhale all of his breath from the force. Hercules then flew into the void, and continued floating far away from Arcadia.
"Say Hi to Hebe for me. And don't forget to go to anger management therapy." Dawn said while waving at Hercules. Hebe is Hercules' wife, and also the daughter of Zeus and Hera. Basically, she is Hercules' half-sister.
Then, Dawn teleported back inside the Arcadia ship, charged full of dark matter engines. Hela started to charge the ship's engine the moment Hercules had come.
It's not that he wanted to run away from a fight, but Dawn likes to stay away from pointless stuff. The Arcadia engine activated and the ship disappeared into Quantum drive.
"DAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Hercules yelled in extreme anger. He took out a few satellites nearby to appease himself before Zeus called him back home.
"This complicates a lot of things." Dawn said as he removed the straw hat from his head and adorned his deer mask back. Then, he entered his realm with Hela by his side.
An orange sky and endless plains were seen when he stepped foot inside his realm. The land was split into three parts.
One part is where the humans were living. Towering skyscrapers with architectural designs unlike anything in the entire universe. Advanced technology that could initiate a war was seen casually laid down on the streets. The people wear colourful clothes as they attend to their daily life.
The population inside the realm had increased slightly after many of the islanders had gotten pregnant. Some were even married and had been living double lives – one of them outside of the realm.
Another part of the realm was filled with countless vegetation that makes up a large forest. Plants dated far back from the Jurassic period and modern plants had grown together in the unique forest. Magical herbs, extinct species, and countless pokemons were seen inside the realm, not just from the original 15 pokemons.
After Dawn and Hela's ability could allow the pokemons to reproduce, Dawn contacted Mrs J, the original quester which he received his pokemon's reward from, to tell her about it.
Mrs J: Thank goodness.! I was worried about the issues for so long!!! How about this? Could you….
Mrs. J came out with a proposal for Dawn to open up a nursery for pokemon's breeding throughout the omniverse. A lot of reincarnated people had received pokemons as a reward from the quests.
They had fallen deeply in love with the pokemons (A/N : AS A PET. No weird what Vaporeon could do stuff) and had sent them to Dawn to allow them to reproduce under his care. Not only that, Mrs. J had given Dawn pokemons for basically free – for him to take care of them.
"SQUIRTLE SQUIRTLE" A team of 5 squirtle wearing sunglasses went to greet Dawn when he arrived.
"Hmm. Nice to meet you too. Do you have a great time here?" Dawn asked the group. The water type pokemons nodded. They had been living in a stream Dawn created with his terraforming divinity.
Standing side by side facing each other, the group of squirtle shot a water stream into the air, creating a rainbow for Dawn. He patted the bald and smooth head of the pokemon, making them bashful.
The last part of the island contained a massive water reserve. He couldn't make an ocean yet, but the water reserve allowed all of the creatures inside the realm to live without any concern about their basic necessity.
"ROAR." A Gyrados swam toward the surface to greet Dawn before he dived back into the water.
He was in the middle of creating the atmosphere inside the realm. It took him longer than he thought and he needed to spend at least an hour everyday to continue building, otherwise all of his work will be gone.
Dawn and Hela walked toward his quarter after checking the condition of the realm.
They arrived at his quarter, where Dawn started to search for a book that would help him in his situation now.
"This is it." Dawn said. In his hand, there's a hardcover book with the title [THRUD ASGARDIAN LOGS]. It was created by his friend who reincarnated as a daughter of Thor and Sif. He contacted Thrud almost every time he was online because Thrud wanted to know the continuation of a LokiXThor fanfiction that one of the islander took over in writing.
Loki in Thrud's world had been fuming for a while, trying to search for the perpetrator who had spread the filth inside the world, but there wasn't even a tiny evidence that he could use to lead him.
"Lets see…The 8 people who used the power of the stones…Nope. Zeus duck adventure. Nope….Hmm..Where is it?" Dawn muttered while he flipped the book carefully.
"Ahh. This is it. Gorr, the God Butcher logs."
He had skimmed the details before, but he didn't have the time to read the 15000 page, enchanted book that Thrud sells on the trading site.
"So. It really is him. Will he come after me too? Considering I am a lone god without a pantheon and all." Dawn muttered to himself. "Well…I could also lead him to some problematic god like Amora or Loki, and let him eliminate them one and for all."
It would be really dangerous for him to encounter Gorr on this journey. Dawn planned to read a few more pages to prepare himself. At this time, he suddenly received a notification from the Red Queen about a visitor nearby Arcadia.
"Hmm? Hercules managed to catch up with us?"
"No Deer God. It's an emissary from Xandar. The ones coming here are some familiar faces, so I thought you'd like to meet them." The holographic projection of the Red Queen in her gothic dress and a parasol said.
"Familiar?" Dawn muttered.
When he returned to Arcadia, he finally knew who the Red Queen was talking about. Three women in crude Mandalorian armour, and Centurion Gia whom Ryan met in Xandar before, had tracked the Arcadia ship for a talk with the Mandalorian.
Honestly, Dawn's reputation was too notorious for Xandar to have a dialogue with him. But, Gia and the girls Ryan had saved before believed in the Mandalorian creed and associated Dawn in the justice faction after knowing the Mandalorian was aboard the Arcadia.
Centurion Gia, the girl with a white hair and white eyelashes hailed the Arcadia ship.
"We come bearing goodwill from Xandar. We heard about the battle with the Skrull. We can help you to have a diplomatic discussion with the Skrull, and help both parties in your negotiation." Gia spoke of her intention for coming by today.
Hela stared at Gia for a while, as their female army commander's clothing was a bit similar. She snorted secretly in her mind after studying Gia, ' The clothes fit me better. She didn't have curves like I do.'
If Dawn knew what she was thinking about, he would surely regret again letting Hela learn from the seductress in the realm. She had started to emulate their behaviour, and them, hers.
"Come aboard the ship. We'll talk there." Hela said curtly toward the emissary. Gia gulped her saliva, and entered the small shuttle with the rest of her team.
"Jay. You're ABSOLUTELY sure about this…Right?" Gia asked Jay, the girl with a homemade Mandalorian helmet.
"I'm sure." Jay replied. Beside her was Arina and Deet, the girls whom Ryan had saved from the snake people before this and returned to Xandar.
…
On Earth.
"Hmm. Should I try to get an alliance with Xandar? It's too soon right?" Ryan muttered to himself.
In front of him, countless documents needed to be approved as the time for the world summit was nearing.
"Wakanda…has been on total radio silence since yesterday. I wonder what happened there?"
He thought for a while, then he shrugged his shoulders.
Shuri and T'Challa had been ordered to go home after the Skrull war. T'Challa was suspicious about his father's order, but he decided to comply for now.
He surely didn't expect that Wakanda had come out with a Doomsday device to challenge Ryan's advancement, and it was something that he would know about a week later.
…
Deep inside the Universe.
Two of a minor comic entity, the Unbeing and Origin, were interlocked in a bitter battle for aeons.
Origin was responsible for a few feats. Such as summoning the cosmic cloud during the time of the Fantastic four origin, or interfering with the mutant's power before their birth.
After an incident occurred and split the reality in this particular universe, the Unbeing had been getting the upper hand in the battle.
The battle outcome would be decided with whether Origin could lift the veil on reality that was created by a magician scientist with a metal mask.
Dawn's route to the King's planet will help Origin in uncovering the truth of the universe, and Unbeing couldn't let that happen.
