Ultron was channelling all of the energies he could syphoned to the cradle of life as he uploaded his consciousness to the android body.
He sacrificed his structure to evolve JARVIS who'd been forced inside the android body, and set up a few mandatory tasks for the Vision to complete. That way, his mission would be complete even when he was gone.
The entire base shook as the energy protection against the cold had disappeared. The snow started to freeze everything inside the compound, starting with the upper levels first.
"Tony, what's Ultron doing?" Natasha asked, standing still despite the tremors inside the buildings. The tremors didn't affect any members of the Avengers there…well except Hawkeye.
"He's building a body!" Tony replied as he checked Ultron's logs. "Oh shit. I created Skynet. He's going to time travel to kill Ryan!"
"Then, he shall not exist." Thor said calmly and channelled his lighting into his hammer. He smote the cradle of life with a massive surge of lighting, wanting to destroy whatever was within.
"NO THOR!" Tony called out, but it was too late.
The massive energy surge created dangerous sparks everywhere in the lab. The energy inside the cradle of life reached their critical state, and the upload speed of the AI hastened.
BANG!
The cradle of life exploded from within, and a silhouette of a red skinned man sprinted toward Thor!
The man choked Thor with incredible might, bringing him in the air. Natasha stabbed her baton at the man's head, but it passed through the man's body.
The gem on the man's head glowed. He turned to Natasha and shot a terrifying beam toward her, burning a hole in her stomach, and a few buildings across the city.
"NAT!" Steve yelled in anger and threw his shield at the naked android. Thor's face contorted and his face reddened. The choke almost caused him to lose consciousness.
The android grabbed the shield as he turned to Steve. But, Captain America already charged his flaming gauntlet and punched at the android's face with all his might.
[FLAMING FIST!]
The fire connected to the android's body, pushing him backward and made him crash into the walls after he released Thor from his grip. Steve realised that his gauntlet cracked after connecting with the android.
"Be careful. He's made of the same stuff Cap's shield is." Tony explained. He tried very hard to find out where JARVIS had gone, but his efforts were useless.
"Jarvis… is gone. All that's left is…that thing." Tony said in realisation as he read the data, his voice was lowered and a deep anger built up inside of him.
'That thing' stood up from the debris of the walls, and spoke calmly using Jarvis' voice.
"I'm sorry for attacking you. I did not mean to." Vision said as he turned toward Thor. "But you attacked me first."
Thor's eyes shook at the truth behind the android's word.
"Who are you?...or what are you?" Barton asked.
"I am not yet named." Vision replied. "Ultron says that I will be his vision. I guess I am… Vision."
Tony chimed in angrily, "You guess? You GUESS?! What have you done to JARVIS?"
"JARVIS is part of me, and I'm him." Vision replied casually.
"What is your aim?" Natasha asked, her dead body already dissipated and changed place with a new one.
"My aim…is to fix the world." Vision started to float and aimed his infinity blast toward the Avengers there. "For that, I will need the time chair."
He shot a terrifying yellow coloured blast toward Barton and Hulk. Steve stood in front of them and blocked the blast with his unbreakable shield.
Thor threw his hammer at Vision, which he stopped using one hand. Vision could also use the hammer easily, and swung the hammer back at him.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Thor widened his eyes as he saw the hammer had returned back to him. Mjolnir slammed on his chest, making him crash into the walls together with the hammer.
Hulk tried to punch Vision, but he turned permeable again. The monster became frustrated as he needed to control his powers while being inside the compound lest he would destroy it and buried all of his friends underneath the building.
"Tony! STOP HIM!" Steve yelled out as he saw Vision turning permeable and flew through the ceiling.
"On it!" Tony activated his jet boots and flew out of the compound hurriedly to intercept the robot.
"Hulk smash now?" Hulk asked as the whole building was crumbling.
"Do it." Natasha replied. Hulk grinned madly and controlled his strength to focus it on his fist.
"I really don't understand why Kai needed to teach Hulk martial arts. It's as if he wasn't destructive enough." Barton chimed in.
"Save your powers, archer. We may need it in fighting that thing. I didn't recognize it before, but the thing on his head is an infinity stone. "
"Infini what?" Steve interjected. Hulk already finished his preparation and punched the ceiling of the compound.
The 7 storey tall, reinforced building couldn't withstand the might of the monster and it was forced to separate from the building foundation. The whole entire building flew to the sky, leaving the Avengers member in an open space below.
"Seriously?" Barton said, flabbergasted. "Won't it fall back on top of us?"
Steve widened his eyes as he heard and quickly said, "We should go. Thor. Tell us more about the infinity stone."
As they ran to catch the android, Thor explained about the infinity stone toward the other members.
"So. Six stones created by the singularity in the beginning of the universe. How did Loki get a hold on one of them?" Natasha asked. They already knew about the sceptre as Ultron's log explained that he stole the sceptre from Ryan to get the stone.
"I do not know." Thor replied in a solemn tone. "I need to have a word with my brother after we return."
"Just don't let him out of his cage, yeah?" Barton said jokingly.
Vision flew in a high speed toward where the time chair was. "Oh no you don't!" Tony said as he saw Vision being 500 metres away from the time chair. Natasha's duplicate threw something toward the robot.
Vision stopped and slammed the object to the ground – by punching it on its face.
"Ugh!" Kang the conqueror groaned as he was treated as a projectile by Nat.
"Seriously?" Tony said as he arrived next to Vision.
"What? That's the only thing I can grab. Besides, isn't his armour impenetrable?" Natasha smirked as she saw Kang's agony.
In the 20 minutes she was left alone with the conqueror, he had woken up more than 15 times and needed her punch to get back to sleep again. She got bored after the first 5 times and was searching for new ways to torture the guy afterward.
Tony and the Vision started to fight mid-air.
"Move Mr. Stark, I don't want to kill you." Vision said.
"But you're okay with killing the others?" Tony said sarcastically.
"If killing them would save the world, I would." Jarvis replied in a calm voice.
"Time doesn't work that way!" Tony yelled angrily and shot out multiple small missiles toward Vision.
After a short struggle, the team finally arrived to provide backup for Tony. Despite Natasha helping Tony at that time, Vision managed to rip off the arc reactor on the armour's chest, causing Tony to be entombed inside his dead armour.
"2005. The day he was born." Vision muttered as he sat on the time chair.
"Nuh-uh." Barton said and shot multiple arrows toward the chair. Thor lunged toward Vision and grappled with him, taking him off the chair. Tony without his armour was thrown to the chair by Natasha.
"Bring us back." Steve ordered. Tony pressed the time chair keypad, and a flash of bright light enveloped the entire group of people there.
"Ah shit. I forgot to set the time to return." Tony muttered as they disappeared from the future world.

-Present-
"Shinobi squad. Are you ready?" Kai asked in the secret communication channel.
"Ready." A group of ninjas dressed in all black suits responded.
(A/N: If you don't remember, Ryan had created a stealth unit using chakra seeds he got as a reward from the quest. He got an army of ninja's loyal to him, doing his dirty works in the shadows as he kept the orders in the country.)
"Good. On my mark. Destroy the time nodes." Kai commanded. He then changed into another channel – the Avengers channel.
"Prepare for the counterattack. Did the guardian respond? Reed, do you have any ideas on how to free Carol?"
"They are coming here now." Abigail Brand, director of SWORD responded about the guardians matter.
"I think I can send a wave to interfere with the ship's time prison, but I need someone who can fly in space and bring Carol out." Reed replied.
Mr. Fantastic didn't join in the battle on the surface as he was sent to study and stop the mothership.
" I will help." Suddenly, a new voice responded in the channel.
"Are you sure Gwen?" Kai asked in a concerned tone.
"Yeah. I'm sure. The summit is on an hour break for the people there to discuss the matter and arrange their thoughts. The United Earth signing will be conducted in one hour. Ryan wanted to broadcast the signing ceremony, so I will help to end this war faster."
Gwen shared the details of the summit and changed her spider-Gwen suit to her Mercy outfit – the battle warrior one, not the sexy one.
The suit was upgraded to withstand space travelling, planetary destruction, and multiversal level beings attack. Even Carol couldn't damage the suit without huge power upgrades.
Gwen took to the sky, creating a sonic boom as she accelerated her speed.
"Okay. On my marks." Kai started the countdown.
The Black Panther inside the mobile base on top of Washington bared his vibranium claws and appeared from the shadowy area of the base.
"Three."
The ghost, Ava Starr appeared in front of the commander inside a mobile base in New York, and ripped out his heart from his body.
"Two."
Skye created a vibrational dome around her body and ran through the army of Scarabs, tanking their attacks with her shield as she created havoc inside the army.
"One. Now."
In Argentina, the pyramid shaped mobile base that was spewing a terrifying number of Scarabs suddenly disappeared from its location. A man in a stealth suit fell from the sky as the base he was inside suddenly disappeared. The man took out a simple cloth, and glided into the ground like a squirrel.
"Argentina is free." The ninja said.
The situation repeated all around the world.
"India is free."
"Sokovia is free."
"London is free."
"Japan is free."
"Germany is free."
"Italy is free."
The Scarabs being shot by the mobile base also disappeared when the mobile base was broken.
Pietro suddenly stopped running and breathed heavily as he'd been fighting non-stop since the start of the battle. He watched the sight of the Scarabs disappearing one by one on the streets.
"Nice. It finally ended." He muttered with a hopeful voice, his hand holding his shaky knees as he stood.
Suddenly, a Scarab appeared behind him, but he was unaware of it. The Scarab shot multiple silent plasma beams toward Pietro to kill him!
"Don't put your guard down while you're in battle. Haven't you learned that in Avengers academy yet?" Skye appeared and stopped the attack with her vibrational shield. She punched the Scarab with quake energy, causing it to disintegrate into pieces.
"Be ready for the second round of attack." Skye said calmly and turned to look at Pietro.
Pietro looked at Skye with glitter in his eyes, and a look that made Skye feel a bit uncomfortable.
"What?" She asked.
"I know…this will be weird to say in our first meeting. But someday.. I'm going to marry you." Pietro said with a smitten expression on his face. Skye shook her head and flew up using vibrational energy.
"Weirdo." She muttered as she went to help the others in a similar position as the speedster.
In space, Gwen arrived where Carol was imprisoned.
"Reed. Are you ready?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah." Reed replied and aimed a gravitational wave cannon toward the time beam the ship used to imprison Carol.
"Do it." Abigail Brand ordered. The fighter ships that were battling Kang's minions were pulled back and Reed was left alone in front of the mothership inside an SSV spaceship.
He pressed the button to initiate the gravitational wave process. "A black hole could interfere with even time because of their gravity pull. I just need to swerve the time beam just a little bit to get Carol out." Reed muttered.
As he predicted, the time beam path was disturbed by the gravitational wave. Gwen swooped in and pulled Carol out of the time beam.
"TTtttttttttttthhhhhhhaaaannkkkkkk" Carol tried to said thanks, but the time particles were still inside of her. In a few short seconds, she returned to normal.
"Thank you." Carol said.
"No problem. I will help you inside the ship. Ryan said there will be a few dangerous individuals there among Kang's minions."
"I see. Let's go." Carol replied.
Adam Warlock and Gamora arrived at the battlefield near the earth after Carol was saved.
"How could you come here, but forget to bring Quill's tape?" Adam Warlock said in frustration. The duo had broken the tape a few days back, and had hidden the tape from Quill since.
"I did." Gamora replied and showed a long string of tape inside her pocket. Adam shook his head and prayed for the best.
Adam suddenly turned his attention to Earth, his face turned solemn.
"I feel a familiar energy over there." He muttered as he pointed toward the Earth.
