In a clinic in Hell's Kitchen, a man adorning a white doctor's coat and checking twin girls with his stethoscope was interrupted by a sudden ringing of his phone.
"Hmm. Skye is calling."
"(childishly) SKYE!"
Anya and Arana Corazon who were getting their checkup beamed in excitement after hearing Skye's name. Kai smiled softly and patted the twin-tailed Arana's head before answering.
"Quick, Nature's Sure-Fire Sunburn Remedy?" He asked the twin before he answered it on his own as a greeting on the phone, "Aloe!"
The twin giggled, but Skye on the other side of the call was silent.
Skye: You did the sunburn thing didn't you?
"Of course I did." Kai answered with a smirk. "What can I help a level 7 Agent of SHIELD with?" He said and stood up from his chair before getting further away from the twins.
On the other side of the call, Skye smiled softly as she imagined her father's smile after doing the greeting he learned from their realtor. She held her chest with one hand and take a deep breath before trying to confide in Kai.
"Dad…"
"Yes Dear."
"...Dad…"
"Everything okay Skye?"
"(voice breaking)...Dad…I stumbled…onto my biological father on my mission. We are going to Argentina now for another one… Estimated time to arrive is in 1 hour. I was wondering if you have time to talk?"
Skye unconsciously said biological parent instead of a true parent as only Kai held the true parent label for her now – a man that had saved her and loved her like a true parent does.
For an agent, Skye would have done a taboo thing when she told the others about the details of a mission. However, with Kai being a 9th level agent of SHIELD, it was safe for her to do so.
'It's not like Dad will rat me out. Right?'
They talked for a while – with more Skye talking, Kai listening.
"I see. That is complicated." Kai said after hearing everything Skye has to say.
"I know that he wants to find me. But the trail of dead bodies that follows him makes me question his sanity."
"Well. He is insane."
"Excuse me?"
"Your biological dad. He created a strengthening serum to fight against both Hydra and SHIELD. The serum messed with his mind, creating an alternate personality that we will call Hyde from now on."
"I see." Skye said and fell into a deep thought. "Ca-...Can you…cure him?" she asked hesitatingly. She didn't even question how Kai knew about Calvin Zebo's condition – something that would have seemed weird if done by anyone other than Kai.
"I think. I will take a closer look later." Kai promised, causing Skye to break out into a smile.
One thing that Skye didn't tell Kai was the probability of her alien genealogy as her mother's background was still obscure.
'I love him. But dad has the tendency to be xenophobic toward anything other than human.' Skye thought secretly. Kai has never killed a human – at least not publically, but he showed no mercy toward the Vampires, the Chitauri and also recently, the Skrulls.
Skye planned on being clear of her history before she told Kai that part. Her action comes from the insecurity inside her heart as she didn't want her dad to love her any less if she was truly…an alien.

Gideon Malik has already done ordering Kraven and decided to retreat from the base, leaving Kraven here to fend for himself against the Silver Sable.
'People might think of me as a coward. But the Malik family ALWAYS survives!' He thought secretly. His disappointment on his daughter's action to get out of Hydra and betray the Hydra god was a blemish on the family's reputation.
Before he invites the Hydra god back on Earth, he needs to clean up the family's shame. He purposely leaked out his intention to use his grandson as a sacrifice for the Hydra god as he knew that Dana wouldn't let the matter go.
One of his strong point was emotional manipulation while showing an incompetent image to the outside world. And with Dana no longer protecting Stephanie, a team of Hydra agents has moved toward the mansion in Curacao island – the place where Dana's family is.
"Raina. Where is the Obelisk?" Gideon Malik asked the woman in a flowery dress in front of him.
"It stays with me. After all, no one else can touch it." Raina said seductively while walking toward Gideon Malik.
She was scared of Calvin Zebo, the man who took her in while she was begging at the streets and Dr. Danial Whitehall, the Hydra head with unparalleled ruthlessness. However, facing Gideon Malik, she wasn't scared– not in the least.
'A coward. Stupid and incompetent. He only became the head of Hydra because of his family history. Sooner or later, he will be hunted down by SHIELD or Hydra other enemies. I need to make him useful as soon as possible and cut off contact with him after.'
Growing up, Raina had always listened to the stories of a superpowered society that could even cheat death from her grandmother. She later learned that the society was called Afterlife and the people there are called the Inhumans.
Obsessed, Raina wanted to prove that she belongs with the group of people and fate has something in store for him. Her obsession grew when she managed to hold the Obelisk that could only be held by the Inhumans. If any ordinary human held the Obelisk, he or she would be turned into stone.

"Let's go." Gideon Malik said. Bringing only his closest confidants, the two manipulators – Gideon Malik and Raina moves toward his stealth QuinnJet that he received from SHIELD during the time Hydra and SHIELD were one.
500 metres away from the hangar area, Silver Sable mercenaries and the Chameleon decided to take a different path inside the hallways.
"When you encounter an enemy you can't handle. Contact me immediately." Silvija ordered.
"Don't be so hot and bothered with me. I am married." Dana teased, however Silvija has no change in her facial expression.
"I know." Dana replied in defeat. Silvija then showed a slight smile but it was after she turned away from him.
Moving past that, Dana found himself alone in an empty corridor.
"Come out. I can smell you." Dana suddenly stopped in his tracks.. "Lion musk. Is that you brother?" He said sarcastically.
"HAHAHAHA." A loud, echoing laugh resounded on the corridors of the empty hallway. From the shadow, Kraven the Hunter walked out with a staff on his hand, pointing in his little brother's direction. (A/N: Not p*nis)
"Long time no see. Dimitri Smerdyakov." Kraven said with a thick russian accent.
"I go by Dana Carvey now." Dana replied in perfect tone, one might think he was born in the United States.
Kraven scoffed. "The comedian? That is what you're basing your life against?"
"What? A guy who changes his face slightly but no one can recognise him even though it's obvious? Why wouldn't I base my life on him?"
Kraven was a bit stunned in the exchange. Not because he couldn't reply, but because of Dana's attitude against him.
Orphaned because of the war, both him and his brother had a working relationship with each other. Also, if one of them died, the other one would take revenge for him. That was their promise.
But as they got older, they both went separate ways. Kraven who learnt the ways of the hunter, and Dmitri who became a master of disguise. However, Kraven had taught his brother to always fear him. But it seemed that Dimitri had already forgotten his teachings.
"Little brother. Do you know what I do with chameleons?" Kraven said while flashing a ruthless smile.
"I don't know. Eat them maybe. You have a screw loose in your head so there is no one on Earth that could answer the question correctly."
"..."
"Also. Fur coat? Seriously? In this weather?"
"You've become conceited haven't you?"
"Hahaha. The more accurate sentence is, 'I no longer have any fear in you'. My 'loving' brother."
"Then I will make your body remember the fear." Kraven said and lunged forward toward Dana.
"Sure sure." Dana said dismissively and ducked the spear tip thrust into him by falling on his back. He raised both of his legs in a split second and kicked the lunging Kraven chest, pushing him into the ceiling.
BAM! His body slammed into the ceiling, producing a web-like crack on it.
Kraven's eyes shook, but he landed safely on the ground as he changed his posture midair and landed like a cat- tiger.
"You're strong …brother." Kraven said, flashing an excited smile. He has trained in the wilderness for years now. Brewing a potion made of countless rare herbs, his strength has long past that of an ordinary human. The potion also slowed down his ageing that he looked like a 20 years old man when he's actually 40. "This will be a nice hunt." He muttered to himself.
"You're not the only one who's improving." Dana replied with the exact same smile on his face. Who is his employer? That's right, the most high profile man on the planet right now. There is no way Ryan would let him stay an ordinary man when he had proven that he is loyal toward him and the Knight's family.
Kraven moved toward his brother carefully this time and closed their distance. Slamming the bottom of his spear on the floor - which penetrated 5 inches into the ground, he used the spear as a pole and spinned his body for a kick on Dana's head.
Ducking yet another attack, Dana realised that Kraven purposely led him to the ground. A small gas canister exploded into a flaming wave, almost burning Dana's face. He sacrifices his hand to propel himself upward, avoiding the fire.
"Good move. This let me capture a lion in Peru." Kraven sneered as he looked at Dana's burning hand. However, with a few simple waves of his hand, the flame died out.
"Must be a stupid lion then." Dana said, still unscathed from the attack. They clashed a few times which led to Dana dislocating his shoulder to increase his arm length for a punch and Kraven managed to punch Dana in the abdomen, almost causing him to puke out his stomach acid.
They duel for about 10 minutes before they create a distance with each other to catch a breath.
"So brother? When did you change your job to become a hydra goon? You've stopped making Youtube videos now?" Dana mocked, mixed with some true concern.
"When I know that you're happily married, there is no way I'm not going to hunt you and punch you in the face right?" Kraven said with a bloodied nose. He gripped the top of his nose to snap it back to its place.
"Urgh." He groaned, causing Dana to laugh at him.
"Brother. Seriously?...Tell me the truth. Did you come here to punch me for not inviting you to my wedding or are you seriously following Hydra's order?"
With a sly glint on his eyes, Kraven said, "The first one."
"AH! Damn you!" Dana replied, completely putting down his guard against his brother.
"HAHAHAHA. He gave me 10 million dollars to come and kill you. He didn't even know you're my brother before this. Hell, even I don't know. HAHAHA!" Kraven laughed maniacally. "Give me all the riches in the world, there is no way I'm killing one of my pack."
Dana smiled politely at him and waited for the next sentence. "Of course. When the pack leave and didn't contact me for 14 years, don't blame me for hunting them."
"I will give you vodka after this." Dana suggested.
"Deal." Kraven replied and putting down the tip of his spear.
Suddenly, the two brothers' reunion was cut short as the entire base started to shake.
"What's going on?" Dana asked in his earpiece.
"Gideon Malik activated the self-destruct sequence on the ship. He already got away when I got to the hangar." Silvija explained using the least amount of words she could.
At the same time, Dana received an alert on his smartwatch that his house's proximity has been breached.
"What's that?" Kraven saw the alert and became ruthless instantly.
"Hydra. They are in my home now."
"We should go. Kill all of them!" Kraven said.
Dana shook his head. "Don't worry. I've already asked for help taking care of my family. We need to find Gideon and kill him, once and for all."

In Curacao island, the elite team of Hydra managed to pass the over the top security in Dana's mansion.
"It..it's empty." One of the goons said after they checked the entire house.
Suddenly, a white-glove-wearing butler appeared out of nowhere with a twin dagger in his hands.
"If you're looking for Stephy and Vis, they are already in New York." Hiddle, Knight's family butler said.
"Kill him!" The elite hydra leader ordered in a cold tone. They need to eliminate all the witnesses or else SHIELD will come after them. But before the leader could turn his head, a deep gash appeared on his neck, causing his blood to spray like a fountain.
"Miss Ava. Please handle those upstairs." Hiddle said casually while flicking the blood from his dagger.
"Okay~" Ava Starr a.k.a Ghost appeared behind Hiddle before she disappeared again.
A speck of blood on Hiddle's gold rim glasses makes him look more menacing than he used to.
"I have rusted a bit." Hiddle said as he took off his glasses. "Blood couldn't touch me before." He said while flashing a devilish grin.
BANG BANG BANG BANG
The 10 hydra elite agents on the lower floor shot at the old man continuously. However in 15 seconds, no gunshots could be heard anymore.
"What a waste of bullets." Hiddle said as he stood in the middle of the hydra agents corpses.
