The shape of a man in the back suddenly turned into a woman, she threw the glass of wine from her hand as she approached the scene. It was Iris the primordial god of this universe.
She walked up to the enraged Diana, using her powers to resist the killing intent.
Iris was a few meters from her. To her surprise, she couldn't walk further, otherwise, her energy would be consumed too much.
She bit her lips and screamed. "HEY! STOP! YOU WILL KILL THE WARRIORS GATHERED HERE!"
Cayn remained silent, staring at the darkened expression on Diana's face.
Suddenly the energy dissipated to Iris' call.
"FINALLY! WHAT IN THE FUCK WAS UP WITH YOU!" She kept screaming at Diana, whose face was unseen.
Diana, was quiet.
She turned around and walked, slowly, towards Iris.
"I AM SPEAKING TO YOU!" She said again.
Diana, stood in front of the primordial god.
Iris didn't know what to do, as the expression on Diana's face was hidden by her hair, she turned to Cayn. "CAYN! What is this? Do you see what she is doing? SHE'S ALWAYS THIS RECKLESS! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU COULD BE WITH SUCH A PERSON!"
Cayn, was silently staring at the ground where Diana was standing before.
"CAN YOU-" Her face suddenly changed shape before she could finish her words.
THUD!
A hook to the face.
Iris, was sent flying to the wall of the hall.
Diana had her hand in front of her. A light red aura englobed her skin. Her robe was dancing in the air with the pressure.
"Oy you. I don't believe I gave you permission to speak to my husband."
Iris got up from the debris, holding her face completely surprised. "FUCKER!" She suddenly screamed again. "CAY-"
Diana's hand held Iris' mouth and raised her to the air.
"What did I just say?" Spoke Diana coldly.
The other gods wanted to jump in but Cayn's cold eyes stopped them all in their tracks. They could only stare from far away.
Amina and the others noticed the friction between Cayn and the gods and rushed everyone to leave. Amina herself didn't want to see the gods these people believed in their entire life being punched to death.
Only a few remained including Raist, while Iris was still hanging by Diana's arm.
Iris raised her palm towards Diana's face, energy started amassing in front of her. "I will fuck you up," she uttered.
But her energy suddenly dissipated, making Iris' eyes widen.
Diana's hand veins appeared and she threw her to another wall in a flash.
Iris stood up again as if it was nothing.
"That was for speaking to my husband."
Diana suddenly cracked her neck. "And the next one, will be for allowing him to reincarnate."
Iris was stupefied.
Diana didn't answer, slowly appointed with her hand to Raist who was also surprised by this.
Iris looked at him for a moment, but before she could react Diana was already walking up to her again. "He is...-"
THUD!
A punch to the guts.
Iris felt her lungs stop functioning. 'Aha, a reincarnator... Raist...' She fell to the ground with questions. 'So that's why you achieved such a thing...'
Diana's eyes finally brightened, staring at the kneeling primordial god.
This easy...
She looked at her hands, the red flow was emerging from every part of her body.
She took a deep breath. "Now..."
Diana turned around to look at Cayn. She walked up to him silently, standing in front of him she raised her hand to hold his cheek. Suddenly reminded of her new powers and the death aura she stopped an inch away, but to her surprise, Cayn held it with his bloodied hands and placed his cheek on her palm while closing his eyes.
"I am sorry, my dear," she said. "I am sorry."
"Not yet," he suddenly spoke.
Diana was about to break down when she met his eyes before.
Right now, he was reminding her.
It wasn't the time for that.
Diana suddenly chuckled. "Yeah. Not yet."
Raist was watching with a darkened expression.
"I will be back," she continued.
Cayn didn't answer, he nodded to her words as she let go of him.
Diana turned around.
The energy and murderous intent she had, had long disappeared.
But, as soon as she turned around. The air and wind started hissing.
"Not yet..." she mumbled under her breath.
"I still have something to do," she spoke quietly as her expression turned cold and menacing.
She faced Raist, but she didn't move from her place.
Her eyes fell on his ring. They were cold and bloody red, as if the moon was painted with scarlet blood. "Use it. Before you die without getting a chance to." The queen has spoken.
Raist's eyes widened. This was the third time he was genuinely surprised today.
"Nevermind," he shook his head. "It doesn't matter how you know."
He started laughing as the ring from his hand shone brightly. "But that power of yours, I want it." He licked his lip. "I want it so bad. So bad it's bringing me chills."
"Be a good princess, and hand it over." His eyes suddenly turned demonic, and his tongue and teeth became longer.
Shiro's eyes suddenly widened. "Leviathan?"
Raist heard him and smirked. "That small demon? HAHAHAHAHA! He wasn't befitting of the title and throne!"
Shiro was truly surprised. 'Does that mean this human is the holder of the demon throne of envy? No, is he still human? But why is he here alone? Is he that confident in his prowess?' While Shiro was wandering Cayn was silently staring at Iris who was watching Diana's back.
It seems that Diana was too enraged to notice, or did she?
Why was Cayn letting this go? Letting their unknown plans unfold before him? Was it still, for Diana's growth?
Cayn's clenched hands were still shedding blood from his fingernails piercing his skin. His cold eyes stared at Diana. 'Your first test... What will you do? Oh dear wife...'
