Chapter 68 - Chapter 68

Sura happily laughed as he licked the sword's edge.

His eyes rolled back as he tasted the souls of all those sacrificed.

"Oh, yes..." as if he was getting off to pleasure.

He then raised his sword. A fast swipe.

A cut that broke through space.

Unseen to the eye.

The cut ran through Cayn.

But nothing happened.

Sura strengthened his grip on the sword handle.

"Don't be cocky, that wasn't his true power."

But Cayn was just standing there with an emotionless face.

His expression didn't change.

Sura clenched his teeth.

"I dare you to stay still!"

Raphael and the others suddenly turned to him. "But why would he-"

But they all marveled at Cayn's response.

A small gesture with his left hand, inviting him.

Sura grew even more pissed.

"Don't you dare then!"

He held the sword tightly above his shoulder.

Red-colored energy started gathering.

Slowly, the speed gradually hastened.

Red energy appeared on the sword's edges.

The energy formed into an enormous edge.

It kept growing bigger.

The sword, grew bigger.

The universe started shaking.

The souls of the sacrifices were screaming from the souls, as if they were burning.

The lives and energies were being sucked up.

The weight grew heavy on Sura's hands and body.

He raised his eyes only to see Cayn still standing there.

He became even more enraged but happy.

He screamed through his lungs.

He started using his own life as fuel for the sword.

Raphael and the other felt their breaths hastening.

The sword grew uncontrollably as it started sucking the energy of everything around it.

They screamed to Sura.

"YOU ARE KILLING US TOO! ENOUGH! SURA!" They all kept screaming.

But he was deaf, leading to Odoman being swallowed as he fought for his life.

He became blinded by the power and the rage inside of him.

Kill, Cayn.

Kill, Cayn.

Kill, Cayn.

His eyes met Cayn again.

Calm.

Quiet.

Standing there silently.

Sura screamed again.

Veins appeared all over his arms and body as he stricked with the sword.

The space around them bent, cutting through even what constructed the atoms and even smaller.

He sliced through everything on its way.

The others felt their eyes blurring but they could still see the sword falling toward Cayn.

They still managed to grow a smile.

The sword, a few millimeters from Cayn.

They all smiled, not caring about the dead Odomon.

But the sword suddenly stopped.

Sura's eyes widened first as he felt the impact on his hands.

He grabbed the hilt tightly pushing the sword harder.

He roared.

Pushing harder.

Harder.

He finally felt in his grip some response.

Cracks.

His smile appeared again on his face as he thought of Cayn's defenses breaking.

He raised his head only for his expression to fall.

The response, his sword finally falling was because it broke.

The energy of the sword exploded.

Everyone was pushed away.

They regained their postures.

Their bodies and clothes were bloody and messy.

"W-what happened?" Asked Raphael.

Everyone turned to look at Sura, who seemed stricken, staring ahead in a daze.

They all followed his sight.

Cayn was still standing there.

Unscratched, nor did he move from his place.

Cayn was still staring at them expressionlessly.

Their bodies were frozen with surprise.

His expression finally changed.

His eyelids fell halfway on his eyes.

He sighed.

"I saw enough," his voice was cold, imposing. It seems like, he finished playing around.

He walked up to them.

They couldn't move.

A vision slowly appeared behind Cayn as his figure darkened,

They were smaller than ants, in front of a dark fire.

They could see two white lines at the end of it.

Only then did their expression worsen, because that was Cayn's eye.

They were too small, to even see the shape of his iris.

There were too small.

They were, too insignificant.

Before long Cayn was already standing in front of Ursy.

She couldn't move, nobody could.

He was staring at her coldly.

"I,I,I...." she finally managed to utter. "I, w-wil-l b-be y-ourrr slav-ve," she spoke in fear.

Ajan at this moment couldn't care less if she was offering herself to someone else.

they all just wished, to stay alive.

"P-please. I-I b-beg you!" She continued.

Suddenly three shadows appeared behind Cayn.

They were not living things.

They walked up to Ursy.

Two of them held her arm to make her stand.

She looked at them confused, but she thought he was making her stand up to accept her.

She smiled awkwardly.

She regained strength in her body.

As she wanted to walk towards Cayn to hold him she was stopped, still being held by the two.

Before she could utter a word.

The third shadow tore her clothes.

Her expression was struck.

"N-no!" As if she understood, her eyes started swelling to tear up.

She was slapped by a shadow.

She didn't shut her mouth.

But they didn't care, binding her limps with their powers.

Her body was left hanging.

And they started, taking turns.

The others couldn't turn their heads nor look away in horror.

Cayn's eyes didn't leave this scene.

Nor did Ajan.

Ursy was being raped in front of all of them.

Her voice kept resounding in their ears.

She screamed, and screamed, until a shadow shut her up with his libido, opening her mouth with his hand she couldn't even bite.

The scene in front of them kept growing dark, as the shadows started using tools.

Her eyes couldn't even create tears anymore.

She was left there.

Her mind broke after what seemed like several hours to the others felt like a lifetime to her.

Yes, she was put on a different timeline.

Suddenly the shadows stopped.

Ursy was still hanging by her limbs.

She suddenly raised her eyes to look at Cayn who stood before her.

She didn't even have the energy to move her head.

Nor say a word.

Suddenly her eyes widened.

Cayn's sword penetrated her stomach.

With a little twist, she got the energy to scream again and twitch like a pig.

Cayn put strength on his grip, pushing the sword down, slowly.

She felt her insides being cut down.

He kept going at the same speed.

She twitched, screamed, roared, shrieked.

He was cutting her in half slowly.

Her organs started spilling, until he cut her in half from the stomach below.

Her ears and eyes flooded with blood as she broke her teeth clenching them from the pain.

Why was she still alive?

Why was she still conscious?

Why?

Why?

Cayn turned the edge of the sword to face upwards.

And he continued, from where he started, until he will fully cut her in half.

Her organs kept falling down into space.

Even when the sword reached her neck she was still alive.

But she couldn't scream, she couldn't shake her head.

Only a mouth that kept closing and opening with the pain as if she was still screaming.

The sword reached her head.

Fully cutting her.

Fully, ending her.

He slowly turned to the others as he made his sword dance cleaning its blood.

As if he didn't just torture someone to death.

As if he did nothing worth reacting to.

He walked over to Ajan. Without as much as saying a word, everyone was already peeing in fear.

Cayn was still emotionless.

He stood in front of him.

Ajan shook in horror but he couldn't utter a word or a sound.

Cayn put him again in a different timeline.

Ajan slowly felt fire heat coming below him.

He started burning alive, feeling every bit of skin and muscle tissue burning slowly under the flames.

Until he burned to dust.

He suddenly came back to life.

Again, to the fire.

Again.

Again.

Until his body grew accustomed to the pain.

Until he thought he could start enduring it.

Cayn changed his skin.

Cayn changed Ajan's body.

Whenever he started enduring it he changed it.

Again.

Again.

In the never-ending burns.

Ajan didn't even have a chance for his mind to break down.

He was in never-ending pain.

He was in never-ending torture.

The fire only kept growing fiercer over the years.

But they were merely several hours for the others watching him.

None could move as they watched both their partners in such a state.

None could breathe wrong even tho they knew death was coming.

This stage of fear and horror was never to be experienced.

Ajan's fire was put out.

he didn't even react nor was happy with the few seconds of no pain.

Because Cayn's sword directly went for his eyes, even reaching the back of his brain.

He pulled out.

Then the other eye.

Ajan wanted to scream but the sword cut his vocals hastily.

He could only open his mouth like Ursy, unable to scream the pain.

But his mouth still opened uncomfortably.

Pain.

But it wasn't as painful as a sudden dark fire that took over his body.

Fiercer than anything seen before.

He burned silently, in immense pain, to something lesser than a crisp.
