"This may be a safe realm for us to hide from the upcoming war," said an angel who appeared with Malik.
Thousands of angels of all kinds of ages appeared after.
Diana held her tears and voice as she saw them showing up.
Malik looked at the five deities coldly.
"What brings lesser pests to this realm," he said with murderous intent.
The five of them shivered in fear. "Oh mighty god of the ancient times," kneeled the senior brother first, followed by the others. "We stumbled upon this realm by chance. We don't dare covet what is yours."
Malik stared at them coldly.
They started sweating.
"Leave," he said.
They got up happily.
Suddenly a voice spoke provocatively, "Oy!"
Everyone was surprised. Even Diana, looking at the figure on the ground.
The kneeling man still couldn't move.
Everyone looked at each other in confusion.
As the five lesser deities turned to leave again, the voice spoke again.
"Don't leave."
This time they turned to look, the man with his head still down, was smiling.
"This lowly creature is still alive!" screamed one of them.
Malik watched this in interest.
"What is he?" He asked those five coldly.
They kneeled to him once again, "My lord, when we came to this realm we found a race called humans. They are weak and aren't able to use mana. They said they own this realm, and call this young person their emperor. We," he paused, "didn't know it was yours."
Malik noticed what was in the hands of one of them, "So you killed them and tasted them."
The man in the front bowed his head deeper trembling. "Not all of them, he stayed behind letting his people run away."
Malik's eyes twitched. "You dare lie to me! How would a fragile race like this get away from your grasp."
"M-my lord it's true. It's just that when we used magic that man could copy our spells only seeing them once. It was like he was learning our ways. His eyes are weird. They felt like they can see deep through your soul and body. And in the middle of our confusion, the others ran away."
Malik's eyes widened, and the angels behind him were also surprised. A creature that never knew of magic, could use the power of lesser deities by merely gazing at it once.
Malik turned to look at the kneeling man.
"Are you, the ruler of these lands?" He asked.
The man nodded.
Malik stared at him for a moment. "I know you wish to revenge on your people, but I told them to leave."
The keeling man started chuckling
"Damn pest, you dare laugh at the mighty god!" screamed the senior brother in a rage.
Malik stared at the man coldly.
"Really?" spoke the kneeling man. "You would let them leave? Alive?" He raised his head hard, smiling. His golden eyes stared at Malik, who was taken aback by his words and gaze.
The five-man stared at both the man and Malik in confusion.
Suddenly both the man and Malik started laughing madly, making everyone else confused.
"You are an interesting one, young emperor."
"No, no, you are."
Malik stopped laughing and smiled, "Are you, making fun of me?"
"I am mere, saying the truth," smiled the man. his golden eyes started shining, "Your body, is different than these pests."
Malik's eyes widened, "Are you, studying my body?"
The kneeling man started laughing, "You look like you are running away from something with your people, I shall let you stay if you kneel before me."
The angels roared angrily.
Malik raised his hand to shut them up.
He looked at the man coldly. "What makes you think I won't kill you and your people-"
Malik halted.
The man stared at him, with killing intent.
"You are, interesting."
The man smiled. "If you kneel, I shall help you. But you will live by my rules."
Malik chuckled, "Help? Who do y-" His eyes suddenly widen as he staggered back in the air.
The man smiled, like a villain, "Don't you think, it will be better if you do this?"
Malik started sweating. "You, you! T-that's my mystical arts!" Malik couldn't help but stutter at the sight.
"It needs some work," spoke the man as he stumped the ground hard to get up.
His legs were shaking, staggering, yet he growled hard at the pain until he could finally stand on both feet. A white magical staff appeared in his hand so that he could balance himself.
Malik clutched his teeth, "May I know your name?"
Everyone was confused why the messenger god, who was only lower than the six supreme gods of the entire dimension, was being respectful to a lowly being.
"Cayn," the man straightened his chest with difficulty. His aura and presence roze.
Everyone's eyes widened. Even with such a destroyed body, he was, a true ruler.
Diana was smiling with tears in her eyes. Her whole body shook happily and in awe of this man.
Malik didn't hesitate anymore, he kneeled on one leg. The others behind him followed, even the kids. No one questioned their god's actions. "Your majesty, please let us serve under you. And, I humbly ask, for my lord's help."
"Live by my rules, and I shall show you, a better mystical or whatever the fuck u call it," said Cayn again.
Malik nodded his bowed head. He couldn't help but think, that when Cayn was kneeling when they came, he was only studying mana from how these deities used it.
The first reason that came to his mind was that Cayn was dangerous, a mere gaze and he could understand his entire arts, creating something even better in less than a moment.
The look in his eyes was also that of a suicidal man. That means even if it killed him, even if he used that mystic art for only a minute, he could kill all of them including him.
Malik didn't know if he should feel unlucky he met such a crazy person, even giving him a way out letting him examine his body, or feel grateful for this fateful encounter.
Then came Cayn's offer. Malik could easily decide, that the six supreme beings aren't shit, he thought, he would better serve under a man that will fight like this for his people rather than those greedy beings.
The five lesser deities were watching this confused and stupified. Not knowing what was happening around them.
Malik suddenly turned his head, looking at them coldly. They shivered in fright.
"My lord, what shall I do with them."
Weird sounds came from Cayn's direction. He tore down what was left of his left arm, throwing it aside.
Cayn closed his eyes, raising his hand as a soft breeze blew around him. "Ah, mana, this is what it feels like."
"My lord, I can make them disappear with onl-"
Suddenly an arm held Malik's shoulder.
Malik couldn't move, or rather he was too surprised to move.
No one could react to Cayn's speed.
Malik turned suddenly to look after hearing the sounds of bones breaking.
"My lord," he said worriedly, "don't push yourself."
Cayn smiled, "My body is still not used to it," he said as he coughed blood.
Malik wanted to hold Cayn but he still couldn't move. His eyes widened as he looked at the hand placed on his shoulder.
Cayn let go, as he walked in the air ahead. His body was breaking, bleeding uncomfortably, but he kept walking.
He stood in front of all the angels and raised his arm wide showing his broad back.
