I was running as fast i could, monsters it's what others were calling this thing was behind me. I found a narrow path where i got into but it was enough for that monster to come.' Tsk' biting my lips i ran through narrow path. That monster was chasing me for a while. I tried to hide from him but he was easily able to find me . As if it have marked me as its prey.
Last night it began, the horrifying disaster which troubled my already troubled life. I am 12 year old boy without any family. All i know is that i found myself awake in the slums of this city 3 years ago. I had no memory of before. Only thing i knew was my name Luca Dracel which was written on the bracelet which i had been wearing since i woke up in this city. All these years i had to steal foods to survive in this dark side of City but never thought that i have to run away from this terrifying creature for my life. Everyone here was either killed or they ran away from here. But i was trapped in this city alone trying to survive.
I found my self at the dead end of the path. Seems like i have been out of my luck. The creature who was like a dark shadow looked like a human but it's body was slim but double the size of a human. It dashed towards me. I did the same. It might be first time in its life that someone had ran towards it instead of running away. All the humans he was eating were running against in the fear. While this monster was happily eating them. But when i ran towards it it got suprised by my actions.
But that monster did that same knowing it have the upper hand in our battle. So i skated through its 2 big leg which is enough for my size . It didn't expected me to skate from between its leg. Since i have been stealing foods of people i was always running from the peoples. With that i was pretty agile.
When i skated through between its leg that monster tried to turned to see me. Before that i run fast as i could i took a metal rod lying in the ground.
When he turned around i jumped high in air and landed on its shoulder. It tried to grab me with its long arm but i locked the rod between its neck. Unable to took me off it panicked and started throwing it's body against the wall. It hit me but i still remained on its back. I then left its neck losse . Held its shoulder blade and stabbed around its neck.
But when i hit it's it pierced it's flesh. The monster looked it was made of dark smoke but infact the dark smoke was just covering it main body. I could feel it's flesh. It was rough. I tried to deepen the rod in it's neck. The monster screamed but it went silence. It was still. I thought i killed it and released the tight grip on rod but suddenly it started making sounds. Sounds of laugh. Yes this monster was laughing. Laughing at me.
The monster arm suddenly grabbed me and throw me to the ground. I coughed blood from the impact on my body. I was in pain due to wound earlier and it only increased my pain. Unable to get up all i can do was just watch the monster approach me. It's head split and a turned into a big mouth. Its mouth was smiling. And then bursted into laughter. It was laughing at me, watching a futile effort of a child to live.
It started approaching me .My heart started beating fast. Facing death . it was making me feel afraid and thrilled at same time. But after few second i was feeling strength coming back into my body. Ignoring the power coming into my body i was watching that monster come close. As he came very close to my face. It observed me . Observed why i was smiling. I also don't know why i was smiling.
After waiting it opened its big mouth. It was pretty disgusting site. Inside it's mouth there were numerous teeth lined in circle. And a big toung.
At the moment the strange power which filled inside me was screaming to let it out. I didnt wanted to die so i used the the power which felt and moved my fist to give it a last smack on its face. It head got tilted and it's teeth broked. I used my hand and leg to get up from the group and grabbed it's toung. I stretched the tough out of its mouth.
It screamed. It screamed was very high pitch and it hurted my ear.
I jumped back. The unusual power i felt back healed my wound. It was really strange. But it only closed my wounds. I was still tired and was barely able to stand.
With its screams i heard the steps of many monster coming. This monster sensed danger from me and now is calling others. Just in a few seconds 10 or more monster came. Some came from the narrow path. Some from the top of building. They all were focused on me.
I used all my remaining strength and jumped and punched that monster straight into its face. Its face was fully blown and it's blue coloured blood splashed on my body. And the monster body fell on the ground lifeless.
But my body was screaming in pain. If i don't run i don't that if i will survive so i ran outside the narrow path and came into the open road.
I got more space to fight but my muscles were giving up. I pushed my self to dodge the monsters claw. It's claw hit the pole behind me and it fell on the shop behind it. The impact broked the mirrors of the shop and it's pieces hit me and the monsters. I got scratches from it and blood Started coming out. It was not much but it was giving me additional pain.
Unable to keep myself i fell on my knees. But the hunger to survive from this i got myself on hold. I gritted my teeth and watched the monster come.
But as they were approaching i heard a loud voice of someone.
" Take this you monsters" i saw a jeep armed with weapons coming toward the monsters. On the top a blonde man wearing a tight black clothing and was smiling? Didn't thought i will find someone who is smiling in current condition. i guess i smiled back then . He took out a big gun and triggered it. The part of gun started glowing and started shooting at the monsters.Those bullets were shining blue unlike normal bullets i saw in hands of mafia who did their buisness here. The monsters were blown away by the shots. Those bullets were not so fast but they killed the monster.
He threw the gun and jumped from the vehicle. In his hand ther was a big hammer. His black suit started shining and blue coloured lines on it started appearing. He then jumped in to the air and smashed the monster with the hammer. The monster was blown.
"Don't be reckless be you old man" a small girl who was in atleast 17 years old shouted.
"What ya saying. I am only 30" he replied and started killing other monsters. The girl in the vehicle also shooted the monsters from inside. And by the time those monsters were killed.
After killing every monster he noticed me. Raising his one eyebrow he touched his moustache. " I didn't expected some one to be here and the top of that alive. Well you don't look so well. But don't worry you did well surviving."
His spoked in calm tone and was giving me a relived smile.
Couldn't keep my body to stand up and from the exhaustion i felt on the ground and got unconscious.
