Chapter 47 - March of Triumph

The people welcomed the queen, their liberator, into Magnolia. The Nelken Ritter surrounded her as she made her way to the Carnation Chateau, where a banquet was being prepared to honor her. Despite being occupied by foreign forces, she saw that Magnolia never changed. It was as vibrant and colorful as she remembered it. The people tossed and threw flower petals on the road and at the soldiers who went into the city. Cheering and applause filled the streets, their hurrahs resonated with the soldiers who greeted them back. General Deane de la Falaise received a thunderous welcome. The queen arrived at the Carnation Chateau, greeted by the prince and the caretakers of the palace.

"Felicitations on your triumphant victory, Your Majesty," Prince Julien bows as the queen climbs up the stairs to the entrance of the chateau. "Your chamber has been prepared for your accommodation."
