This is why we have our Alphas and Lunas. To protect all those in the pack specially for us omegas that can't fully shift. My name is Nakita Simmons. Going to be 18 years old in 2 weeks. Graduating from high school. Finally be able to meet my mate. That's how it's supposed to go right?

"ugh need to invest in a new alarm clock." I can't wait to not have to wake for school. Only 2 more weeks. I'll be free and no one can stop me not even my Aunt Sylvia.

Don't get me wrong. I love her to bits, but one can only be told what should have happened for you if your parents were still around.

You see, I'm not your typical omega. I'm the daughter of a fallen pack that was taken by filthy rouges who teamed up with warlocks and witches to due their evil bidding. Daughter of Alpha Allen and Luna Cillie. Heir to Moonstone Pack.

last thing I remember with my parents is them repeating its safer with your Aunt Syl at Dark Moon Pack. They needed to protect the pack however they can. Being Alpha and Luna they had to stand strong for what was about to come. Protect everyone they could.

My mother held me close and whispered into my ear "Sweetpea, always stay pure and see the light in every creature. Some may need a light to guide them." With that they took their leave. I never got a chance to ask what she ment. I know very little of our people, history we have. All I know we were very peaceful, well off from other small packs. Though our pack always had members who were gifted from the goddess herself. Some could read minds, some had gift of speed. they usually were trackers or Warriors of the pack. Smart fast and edge to always know what enemy was thinking.

I barely know what happened to them. My Aunt won't say much as I was a child at the time. I've never really ask more when I got older. you can see the pain in her eyes when she's talking about childhood memories between them. She never talks about why their not here.

I get off my bed to go shower. Once I'm dressed, brush through my hair. Naturally its light brown during the summer time highlights always appear. Gives my whole appearance that sunkiss glow I love. I don't bother with makeup much. I only add a bit of eyeliner and mascara. Simple but gives my blue eyes with yellow rings that pop they need.

I grab my school pack bag, and phone, Then go downstairs to make some breakfast. Bonus of my Aunt working in the kitchen for the pack house is she's never around to disturbe in the morning. I love her to bits, but I'm not a morning person. Rather run 5 miles then talk to anyone in the morning.

I'm grabbing out left overs from the fridge when I hear my phone go out. probably just Chelsea. "Hey Girl!! Be there in 5!!" She's always early. Always right when I'm grabbing food from my fridge. I grab 2 plates and proceed to pop our dishes into the microwave.

After a few more minutes I here a knock and Chelsea comes right on in.

"Heyyyy! 2 More Week Officially!" Chelsea is jumping up and down.

I'm just as excited. 2 Weeks until there's no more school. Being Omegas of pack house kitchen always fun with her and my aunt. But when your doing full time school and working all night. It can be very exhausting. With no time to have off to ourselves. My Aunt was amazing she told Chelsea and I that we could have graduation dinner off. We could enjoy the party. That's a like a blue moon!

"I know! We still need to go shopping!"

"yes yes. That's easy! I'm going to look for something sexy. Draw my mate in." she starts to giggle.

"trust me Chelsea, with your Model body I'm surprised you don't have wolf's already lined up" I say

"Well not every wolf is a man. Their all boys." Chelsea pouts slightly. Causes myself to laugh.

"I'm sure you'll be the first one to find their mate. Your so out going unlike myself. you'll walk in and BAM! your mated!" I'm dramatic swinging my hips to reenact my story. Chelsea dying of laughter on the floor!

"I don't walk like that! oh goddess I hope your paired my friend amazing." Chelsea states.

I can't help but smile at her. she's truly one of my only friends. My Aunt watched us both grow up when we were put to work in the kitchen at 13 we came even closer. two peas in a pod as they say.

"let get going. we don't want to be late for class." I say to her.
