Chapter 4 - [CH.004] Deadly, Shapeshifting Falcon Returns

OVERWORLD | Plains Biome | Day

"Fat head!" EnderBrine blurted out, "Fat head, fat head, fat head! Just a big, chubby fat head."

Wynter and Victoria both tilted their heads slightly. They examined his entire body from head to toe. They both scoffed and tried to not laugh. But they couldn't help it.

"You have put on weight now that I think of it," Wynter said with a smile. Victoria covered her mouth and giggled into her hands. Her laughter was muffled.

"Ahem!" Stanley said. Everyone stopped talking to look over at him. Still standing right alongside EnderBrine, he got their attention. "Save the banter," he told them. "We were kind of in the middle of something here. You mind?"

"Actually, yes," Wynter responded, "he's the reason why we're here."

Stanley huffed and puffed with frustration. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. Beginning to act like a misbehaving child, he wasn't the friendliest of blockheads to be in the presence of. He continued to ramble on and on and on. Finally, Wynter had heard enough.

POOF! WHOOP!

A sudden cloud of smoke engulfed Stanley from the ground up. Just as though it appeared, it dissipated and blew away. In its place, right where Stanley was standing a second ago, was a tiny oak tree sapling. It rustled and shook.

Lily raised one eyebrow with a confused expression on her face. Out of everything she could've picked from, Wynter chose a tree. Strange, I know. To be fair, she had her reasons. It was clear as to what those reasons were. Those reasons stemmed and branched out from the anger and hostility Stanley was showcasing.

"He'll get over it," Wynter stated as everyone laid eyes upon her, including EnderBrine and Victoria. "He's just mad, that's all."

"Mad that you turned him into a sapling?" Amelia questioned.

"Obviously," Wynter answered.

"Refresh my memory," Notch said, "isn't it standard code to not intervene in any conflicts unless needed?"

Wynter and Victoria looked over at him. "That was changed many, many, many, many, many, many–," Victoria was saying as Lily cut her off.

"Oh for heaven's sake," Lily began saying, "get on with it!"

POOF! WHOOSH!

Wynter rolled her eyes and shook her head. Victoria giggled quietly under her breath. Notch scoffed and laughed briefly, pointing down at the oak tree sapling. It, just like Stanley's was doing, hers was shaking and rustling too.

"I'll turn all of you into trees if I have to," she warned, "you have my word."

Melinda then turned back into her blockhead form.

"She's not one to play games with," Victoria explained as she then glanced over at Notch, tilting her head slightly. "Isn't that right Notch?"

Notch rolled his eyes and sighed; shaking his head. He put his hand on his forehead as he looked down at the ground.

Now enough of this banter, they both quickly refocused themselves."Will I ever catch a break from that?" He asked, "it was a cake, a CAKE! Something easily replaceable. the months and years to come, many blockheads will remember the Great OverWorld War. Forever, this War would become a staple in history. Always remembered. Never forgotten.

"I think we've wasted enough time already," Wynter realized, "take him, seduce him. Put him in cuffs." She was talking about EnderBrine and what to do with him. What they were going to do to EnderBrine and such. Amelia lifted her staff, then slammed it back down onto the ground. A thump noise was heard after she did that.

In turn, iron cuffs appeared over EnderBrine's wrists. A pumpkin was put over his head to prevent him from knowing where they'd be going. Once the pumpkin was covering his head, Victoria and Wynter looked over at Amelia, Melinda, and Notch one last time.

After this, they grabbed each other's hands, faintly smiling at the three of them.

"Oh, I almost forgot about you, Jack," Wynter said, "here. A little token of our gratitude."

She waved her hand back and forth in the air in front of her. "You won't feel anything different about you now, but you will later down the road… give or take 636 days into the future that is."

"After all the terror I caused?" I don't deserve anything. What I do deserve is punishment."

"We Gods and Goddesses believe in granting second chances," Wynter explained, "what you did is behind us."

These comments made Jack feel a little bit better about himself. Thank goodness they were so nice about it. Still, though, he thinks the punishment is adequate for what he did.

"We'll be in touch," Victoria said.

Then, the bright lights returned. It blinded everyone but only briefly. As quickly as the light appeared, it disappeared. Victoria, Wynter, and EnderBrine were now gone. No traces of them being here remained.

"Let's hope we won't see him ever again," Melinda mumbled.

Stanley and Lily returned to their blockhead form, no longer being trapped as tree saplings.

"Where is she?" Stanley shouted in anger and upset.

"Gone," Melinda quickly answered.

"How was being a tree treating you?" Amelia said with laughter.

Stanley rolled his eyes and shook his head. With his left hand, he began massaging his forehead steadily.

"I hated it," he answered as he ground his teeth.

Victoria and Melinda both laughed as Notch scoffed and smiled at him. They were clearly amused by the stunt Wynter had pulled.

"All you had to do was be–," Melinda said as Stanley cut her off.

"I know, I know," he responded, "all I had to do was be nice. Duly noted."

Mileena blipped and appeared. She is on the ground next to Jack. He lowers his head, looking down upon Mileena. Slowly tilting her head back, she gazed up into Elderon's (JACK) eyes.

"You're not as menacing as you appear," Mileena mentally said to him. She'd acquired, over time, this ability. Mileena has telekinetic abilities.

"You saved my life many times," Elderon says telekinetically. "Without your protection, I wouldn't be here…in the now. With you and everyone else. I owe you my life."

Mileena faintly smiled as she began walking away, running her hand down his tail as she went away.

"No, you don't," she replied, "you owe nothing. After all, we did make a good team, didn't we?"

Mileena is referring to their past as a team, working together to bring down her husband and his Kingdom. Two years after King Miraz settled on these lands, Mileena would bear witness to many unforgettable sights. From hanging villagers and anyone else who's opposed him, she was fed up with how her husband was treating them.

With that being said, she began formulating a plan; one that would put a stop to all of this. Over the course of months and months, she'd finished plotting her scheme.

Perfect timing. Using her husband's sickness against him, that was how she'd put the plan into motion. From there, it was a long waiting game.

EnderBrine turned his head and looked directly at her. Everyone else did the same. Stanley gasped and pulled his sword out from his inventory, pointing it at her.

"YOU!" Stanley shouted. "Stay where you are! Don't move!"

Amelia, holding her staff, looked over at Stanley.

"Stanley, lower the sword," Amelia said to him, "she's with us."

"Mileena!" EnderBrine said from a short distance away, "traitor! Coward! Two-faced witch! Why?"

Victoria looked back behind them and to EnderBrine. His hands still cuffed, he was breathing heavily due to his anger and betrayal.

"I thought you loved me just the same," he continued shouting at her, "not only did you betray me, but your son and our Kingdom!"

"Your, not our," she corrected him, "I did…at one point."

"Then why'd you do it?" EnderBrine asked. "Answer me! He—"

POOF!

"Aha," Stanley chuckled, "where'd he go?"

"To a place where he will rot for all eternity; the EndWorld," Mileena explained, "he'll have to deal with the dragon. He's no longer our problem."

This moment marked the beginning of rebuilding the OverWorld; returning it to its former glory. With that backstory told, the rest is history.

The Kingdom was abandoned, and the blockheads were freed from the dictator King Miraz. In the days that followed, the castle and the Kingdom were abandoned. The blockheads and villagers set out on their journey to establish new settlements and villages and such.

Mileena, after banishing Miraz to the EndWorld, she then went on to banish her one and only son; Quintin. But she banished him to the NetherWorld.

As centuries passed, a large jungle had overtaken the land where the Kingdom once stood. Vines grew, cobblestone crumbled and fell, and mossy cobblestone appeared. Not to leave out the dense biome.

With that, the ruins of it became something of a legend. Stories were written, and tales were told. But no one, not even the Elder Witches and Wizards knew of its whereabouts.

Mileena went back to being the leader of the Resistance, but remained hidden from the outside. This is where she is today; present day.

"Daniel?" Petra said and whistled, "Daniel?"

Still being possessed by Nightmare, he had no clue as to what was happening. Somehow she was in control. Being in a different world, how is it possible that she's able to do this?

Suddenly, the channel on the television switched to the news.

"This just in…,"

The broadcast abruptly ceased airing. The screen went black and bold white text appeared:
