After the meeting, Wallace looked at Mitch with a complicated gaze, but he was still angry about Mitch's earlier request or more of a demand; so deciding that he still did not want to talk to him yet, he walked out with the rest of the shareholders and headed straight to Eddy's office. He paused by the door and hesitated as he was not sure whether to go in or not.
Without realising, he had stood there for about five minutes but could not bring himself to enter. He knew how Eddy cherished the position and what it would do to him if he heard that it had been taken from him. Wallace knew his adopted son the best. It was more of the title and the prestige attached to the position and nothing else would matter to Eddy.
