The streets were bustling with a lot of activities as people went through their daily endeavours. Even the sun was hard at work, shining brightly in the sky and also providing warmth that made people shed their jackets worn against the morning chill that was already long forgotten. The clear skies were so refreshing that even the birds looked happy as they jumped from one tree branch to another singing their sweet songs.
Contrary to this lively atmosphere outside, a man stood in a tall window and looked out as people went through their days, but he was only a shell of his former self. He just watched on blankly at things that were going on but not really seeing anything at all.
Beep …..beep ….. beep, the silence in the room was almost suffocating but the tiny beeps of the connected machines told the lone person in there that there was life. Especially with the tiny mapping flickers on the monitors.
