In the days following the scandals, different shareholders had been infuriated with the scandals of the Menas family as well as the proud and unwavering attitude of Mitch Menas and Eugene Mills was the first on that list. He detested Mitch to the bone, but would never let anyone know that not so tiny fact, even though his actions at their meetings had already put him also high on the 'dislike list' of Mitch.
He knew that he had a job to do and so, always tried to keep a cool head and waited for an opportunity and that chance was handed on a pedestal to him by Mitch himself, and none other.
Just before he had left for the shareholders meeting that day, he got a call from his boss and friend,
"The deal has been done; he gave the shares. I don't think he read the contract as he was desperate, but we can use that later. For now, do what needs to be done!" and then the line went dead.
