"Ansel, Lian, Auntie's here!" Angela called out excitedly. Her arms were full of shopping bags containing gifts and food she had bought before stopping by her brother's house.
It had been quite a while since she last visited her niece and nephew, owing to her packed work schedule. Today, she finally managed to free up some time to visit, even if it was just on her own.
Angela's voice echoed through the living room, catching Ansel's attention as she played on the floor. The little girl turned her head, and the moment she saw her aunt standing at the door, she jumped up and ran toward her with small, enthusiastic steps.
"Auntie Angel!" she exclaimed, flinging herself into Angela's arms. "I missed you!"
Angela chuckled softly, hugging her niece tightly. "I missed you too, sweetheart. Sorry I've been so busy lately. But look, I brought lots of gifts for you and your little brother!"
