Albern never imagined that he would eventually become a grandfather. Although Arthur and Kalea were not yet officially married, Anselma's presence in their lives had long been the hope he had been waiting for.
Every week, Albern and Aquila never missed the chance to visit Arthur's penthouse, bringing small gifts for their granddaughter—baby clothes, cute toys, or even Kalea's favorite food made by Aquila herself. As soon as they arrived, Albern's face always lit up upon hearing Anselma's little laugh. He often sat on the sofa, holding the baby in his arms.
Time passed, and Anselma was now six months old. The baby had become even more adorable, with her laughter filling the days. One day, Arthur came to his parents' house with Kalea and Anselma. He appeared to be carrying a lot of things to leave behind.
"Can we leave Anselma with you tonight?" Arthur asked, setting a large diaper bag down in the living room. "We just want to have a quick dinner."
