"What are you doing, Arthur?!" Kalea's voice rang out, sharp and filled with disbelief, as her eyes locked onto Kai, who was staggering, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth after Arthur's brutal punch. Kalea's heart raced, almost refusing to believe the reality unfolding before her. She rushed to help Kai get back on his feet.
Arthur stood tall, his chest rising and falling rapidly, his breaths labored and heavy with rage. His eyes, sharp as daggers, fixed on Kalea. "Why didn't you tell me the entire village already knows you're pregnant?!"
Kalea froze, her eyes widening. Not a single word left her lips. Now Arthur knew too. Her mouth felt stiff, unable to form a reply. The man before her was nothing like the Arthur she knew. This was the first time she had seen him this angry, like someone who could destroy anything that provoked him.
