"Bye-bye! Today was sooo much fun!" Zeline beamed with a wide smile, showing off her perfectly aligned teeth. She had no regrets about coming to Carran village, spending time at Kalea's place. Not to mention, she was taking home two jars of Kalea's homemade red velvet cookies. It seemed like these were about to become one of Zeline's favorite desserts.
"Aren't you staying the night?" Kalea asked, only to be met with a shake of Zeline's head.
Zeline clung playfully to Dariel's arm, resting her head on his shoulder. "My jealous boyfriend would be sad if I left him. He'd be sooo lonely," Zeline teased, while Dariel just turned his face away, trying to hide the blush creeping up his cheeks. Kalea chuckled softly, relieved that the couple was no longer arguing.
