"Lea! How are you?" Zeline exclaimed, suddenly hugging Kalea from the side with excessive enthusiasm. Her face was beaming, clearly overjoyed to finally reunite with her only friend.
Kalea welcomed her with a soft smile, nodding gently. "I'm perfectly fine. How about you?" she asked, her eyes filled with concern as she watched Zeline, who was now gently stroking her growing belly.
"Zeline is safe with me, Kalea," Dariel responded in a calm, soothing tone. Kalea's smile widened at Dariel's statement.
Arthur could only offer a resigned smile, his worries that had been weighing on his mind earlier now seemed to evaporate after seeing the two beautiful women channeling their longing for each other. Dariel and Zeline then turned their attention to Kai, who was standing not far from them.
Zeline's blue eyes scanned Kai from head to toe with an intense gaze, making the village man feel slightly awkward.
