Zeline let out a long sigh, twirling her fork on the plate, looking unenthusiastic. "Aaaaa ... I miss Lea," she grumbled lazily, taking a small bite of the steak that her boyfriend had cut for her. Even though the steak looked delicious, Zeline just poked at it without much energy, barely putting any into her mouth.
Since their last meeting with Kalea, Zeline had been constantly complaining about wanting to see the brunette-haired girl again. Dariel understood the loneliness Zeline felt. How could he not? He had been too busy with work. Especially since the McKenzie family-hospital officially became his responsibility, his time had been even more consumed. Zeline, unfortunately, had to spend much of her time alone.
